Event Pokemon Distribution on the GTS!

I would like to dedicate this thread to Pokemon requests ONLY. Here is a guide to receive the distribution:

This distribution works with: Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, and SoulSilver.

MAKE SURE THAT YOUR POKEMON TEAM IS FULL OF SIX POKEMON BEFORE ENTERING THE GTS!

STEP 1. On the main menu, select "NINTENDO WFC SETTINGS" by pressing the A button.

STEP 2. Select the big blue button labled "Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Settings" by tapping it.

STEP 3. You will see 3 connections. Tap on the internet connection that you already use to access the internet.

STEP 4. Go all the way to the bottom and press the "No" button for the "Auto-obtain DNS" feature.

STEP 5. Press "Edit" for the "Primary DNS" feature.

STEP 6. Type in "96.26.172.219" and press OK.

STEP 7. When it asks you: "Are these settings correct?" , press "OK".

STEP 8. Press "Save Settings".

STEP 9. Turn your DS off. Now turn it back on.

STEP 10. Go into the GTS, and you will recieve the Pokemon I am distributing!

Here is a list of Pokemon that I am currently distributing:

These Pokemon are listed from newest to oldest. My GTS holds only 15 Pokemon. So, when someone requests a new Pokemon, I delete the oldest Pokemon (the one that is last on this list), and then I add the Pokemon that they requested to the top of this list.

I choose to limit my GTS's distribution list to 15 Pokemon. Every time somebody requests a Pokemon, then I will remove the oldest Pokemon from my distribution list.

I do not host hacked Pokemon. Please do not request that I add a hacked Pokemon. All Pokemon that are in my GTS are REAL. I hope this clears up some things.

Satetsu: I suggest trying again. If you still have problems, check to make sure you typed in the Primary DNS correctly. It should say: 96.26.172.219
Can you connect to the regular GTS? If you can't then that means your internet is to blame.

I have added the C space Deoxys. Here 2 rules for everyone who wants to make a Pokemon request:

You may only request 1 Pokemon each week (You can download as many as you want though). A new week starts each Monday.

I choose to limit my GTS's distribution list to 15 Pokemon. Since my GTS distribution list has reached its limit, every time somebody requests a Pokemon I will remove the oldest Pokemon from my distribution list.

These rules are necessary for me to keep up with requests, and are also helpful for everyone who uses my GTS. What would happen if somebody requested that I add all 493 Pokemon? That might seem like a great idea at first, but since my GTS distributes Pokemon in Alphabetical order, you would have to download a lot of Pokemon you DIDN'T want BEFORE you get to the one you DO want on the list. Limiting the GTS's capacity to 15 Pokemon makes it easy for everyone to download the Pokemon they want on the list, because even if the Pokemon they want is at the end of the list, then they would still only have to download 15 Pokemon, instead of all 493.

This glitch cannot be used to obtain Arceus, since the Underground cannot be accessed from Hall of Origin.

Well, IMO it's alright if you give out the Arceus, as long as the OT only cheated for the Azure Flute and caught the Arceus without any cheats.
(BTW, you probably already noticed, but it's Space C Deoxys and not C Space)

Still makes no difference.
Tweaking requires access to the Underground as well.
Tweaking is just an alternate way to access the void.

I think your list of current ten Pokémon being distributed should be in order of oldest --> newest, so we can know which one will get replaced once we request for another one.

I have removed the Japanese Movie Theater Suicune and the Japanese Movie Theater Entei. I have added the Japanese Movie Theater Celebii and the VGC Shiny Eevee.

Surfing Pikachu: If I remove a Pokemon that you still want, then just ask me add it again. The Arceus will eventually be removed, when it becomes last on the distribution list. I have encountered the Hall of Origin Arceus by using glitches. Since I do not believe that using glitches counts as cheating, I chose to distribute it. I do not "cheat" to obtain any of my Pokemon. The Pokemon in my GTS are real.

Something's wrong with your GTS. When I obtain the Pokemon that you're offering, it gives me a communication error. Would there be a way to fix this?

There's nothing wrong with the GTS.

This is because you never connected to the real GTS before using this method ; connect to Nintendo's official GTS once and it should work better afterwards (I don't remember whether it works by simply connecting or if you have to deposit a Pokémon, I think you should deposit a Pokémon then take it back).

Is there a way you could set up another server? Because either 1.) The server's getting raped and I can't get in or 2.) I can't connect to it very often. I can hardly connect to it at all lol.

I can't set up a different server, because I don't have two internet connections. According to my logs, it is not the server's fault, but instead, it is my internet's fault.

Sometimes my internet goes down (about twice per week according to the logs). When my internet does go down I have to manually restart it (which takes less than a minute) but, it usually takes me a few hours to realize that it is down since I only check on it about once a day.

Sorry for the inconvenience. I hope this explains your connectivity problem.

do you have to do a physical reset, or is there some way you can do it from the computer?

if you can do it from the computer, i can try to make a program to ping out every x amount of time, and if it can't see the internet, reset.

I manually reset my internet by using proprietary software made by my ISP. The proprietary software controls a 4G USB device that emulates a wired network connection.

When I plug my 4G USB device into my USB port, my ISP's proprietary software automatically starts. Your idea could possibly be accomplished by disabling all USB ports, and then re-enabling them again, to make my ISP's proprietary software think that I removed my USB device, and then plugged it back in.

I have removed the Hall Of Origin Arceus and the Space C Deoxys from the GTS. I have added a Shiny Male Dragonite with Extreme Speed and a Cressilia to the GTS.

Bobmonkey07: I don't know exactly why it would do that. I am guessing that you either have a very complicated network, or you have a security setting on your Wi-Fi router that is blocking it. Could you try to describe your network to me?

Sorry for the late response again. I have been very busy lately.

I have removed Arcanine, the VGC Shiny Eevee, the Japanese Movie Theater Celebii, and the GameStop Shiny Pichu from the GTS. I have added a Spear Pillar Dialga, a Shiny Larvitar, a Shiny Solrock, and a Piplup to the GTS.

NOTE: The GTS will be offline from 5:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. Pacific Time on December 25th, 2010.

conundrum: When you say that you want a "Sinjoh Ruins Dialga", you mean that you want a Spear Pillar Dialga, correct?

in heart gold/soul silver, if you go to a certain place with an arceus in your party, you get sent to the sinjoh ruins. from there, you may pick between aa palkia, a dialga, or a giratina. these are each level 1, and holding their orbs. you can get 2 of these, by using separate arceus. (Hall of Origin and TRU).

while that's on my mind, if someone requests a giratina, keep in mind that since in diamond and pearl the griseous orb CANNOT exist due to the code having not been incuded at the time, there may be some problems.

also, i'd like to request hall of origins arceus so i can get a second level 1 legendary dragon.

I have swapped the Spear Pillar Dialga with a Sinjoh Ruins Dialga. I have removed the TRU Regigigas from the GTS. I have added the Hall Of Origin Arceus to the GTS.


Just for clarification, if I accidentally upload the wrong Pokemon, I will immediately switch it with the correct Pokemon. I will only do so if the error is on my part.

I have been trying to make this work, and it will let me into the GTS, and once I reach the blue computer it says there was a communication error and sends me back to the starting screen. I checked my boxes, and there were no pokemon. I have also used the normal GTS before this, and even have a pokemon deposited in it. Any suggestions as to what to do?

Yeah, I have to manually restart the program whenever it stops working. I only check my computer every couple of hours.

I think I have fixed the problem. I notice that the GTS always stops working when it tries to send Piplup. I have removed the Piplup, and now it works fine.

Timid would be fantastico! I know you don't do requests and I greatly appreciate your help. Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure Mesprit was never an event Pokémon and I feel kind of dull asking ARH in this thread..

I have removed the Shiny Solrock, Piplup, Hall Of Origin Arceus, Ageto Celebii, GameStop Deoxys, and Mesprit from the GTS. I have added the Flawless Timid Mesprit, Flawless Shiny Manaphy, Shadow Lugia, Japanese 7-Eleven Pikachu, Flawless GameStop Jirachi, and Japanese Satoshi's Pikachu to the GTS.

I still have a request for a Flawless Modest Mareep, a Shiny Mew, and a Embedded Tower Kyogre. Since I am very busy right now, I will add those two Pokemon either tomorrow or the day after.

You didn't get any Lugia at all? I got him my second connection. The "shadow" form of lugia is only available in Pokemon XD. In order to trade him you have to first purify him, which turns him into a normal lugia... hence the normal looking lugia you receive. I wish the "shadow" lugia was available in other games because it's badass, but unfortunately it isn't.

I'm pretty sure Shadow Lugia has to be purified if transferred to GBA games and that would make it normal-colored right? Isn't it basically Lugia caught in Gale of Darkness?

Yeah, that's the problem. Shadow Lugia doesn't exist outside of XD.
