Around September 9th 2020, a program was leaked, and said program allows the creation of 2 games: Slot-2 Distribution and Wireless Distribution. The program comes with a few templates, and it replaces part of the template with a selected script, in order to distribute the event. From within either template (Slot-2 Distribution and Wireless Distribution), a Pikachu test event was extracted via hex editing. If this template was used as the final slot-2 distribution game to distribute to Gen 4 games, the Gen 4 game will freeze. Due to natures of the Slot-2 distribution game, only Japanese games can detect it thus far. If distributed wirelessly, it appears that the card will be the exact same, except that a date is written by the receiving device. [We will not distribute the Debug ROMs or the template ROMs used, and it is against our rules to ask for it]

This is a Wild Area event held by Sword and Shield. This event is also presently the only way for Sword and Shield players to catch Alolan Raichu in Sword and Shield.. To import these files into your save, use PKHeX's block importing function. Our tutorial should guide you through it. Our first post of this page would contain some data relevant to the importing stage. There's info and some common questions regarding Wild Area Events here. To see other Wild Area Events, here.

This marks the first time Gigantamax Pikachu was found in Max Raids. This Pikachu has the move Volt Tackle, which is normally only available by breeding (while parent holds Light Ball). Volt Tackle also cannot be passed from breeding parent to breeding parent, unlike other egg moves. Note that the Gigantamax factor cannot be obtained by breeding, thus this combination (Gmax + Volt Tackle) is normally not possible. This also marks the first time Gigantamax Pikachu can be shiny, as the only one previously available was shiny locked. The Wild Area Event for this Pikachu can be found here.

This gift was distributed to players who attended the Party of the Decade at Bryant Park, New York, back in 2006, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Pokémon (based on the original Japanese release). While this gift is similar to the Journey Across America version, with the Original Trainer being 10 ANIV, the Trainer ID is 06808 (signifying the event date 2006 August 8.) instead of the TID of 00010. Additionally, this gift came with the move Fly, unlike the Journey Across America version, perhaps to honor the presence of the original Pikachu Balloon from Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

On the official page for Birthday promotions, the 2nd Birthday distribution was supposed to end right before Let's Go Pikachu & Eevee launches, and the birthday giveaway would then only be the Chansey Gift for those games. However, either due to oversight or perhaps a secret distribution only for those who ask for the 3DS versions of the birthday gift, this 3rd distribution was given away only at select Pokémon Centers, provided the staff doesn't claim that such a distribution doesn't exist. It's also possible before mid-November ended (the transition to Let's Go), staff gave away this event instead of the 2nd distribution. In any case, some people managed to get this rare card. It is still required for players to be in their birthday month to receive this. Identification would have to be presented upon redemption, and travelers can do so by showing their passport. While Shiny Pikachu has been released early in Pokémon Go, even before the introduction of Community Days, for the file on this page contributed by @wo0ts, the Shiny Pikachu provided was not caught in the wild, but instead was evolved from a Shiny Pichu, obtained from an egg obtained from the Pokémon Go Safari Zone in Dortmund, Germany. In 2018, from June 30th to July 1st, the Safari Zone Pokéstops would yield 2km eggs that had a chance of hatching into a Shiny Pichu.
