  1. Good brainstorming though. Hopefully a programmer takes it up in the future.
  2. Right but those bin files can only be used with games of the same gen, or at least that's the error I get when trying otherwise. I appreciate the help, but I'm gathering that I'll need to reorder manually.
  3. The plugin is cool, but it simply sorts current pokemon in the boxes by regional dex number. I'm wanting to export/import boxes as they were. I'm assuming no plugin exists for that.
  4. I've tried PKHeX's Data -> Dump and Load Boxes feature for transferring Pokemon from older games, but it seems to import in order of dex number rather than preserving the layout of the original boxes, since it's just batch import/export of individual Pokemon files. Saving as a box.bin does keep the layout, but it's only compatible with the same gen. Am I overlooking something or will I need to manually resort the boxes? Thanks
  5. Oh understood, the file kaphotics refers to is the memorylink.sav. Thank you for the quick response I really appreciate it! Edit: I just realized the attached link data is a save snippet, so I was able to copy over my imported but non-working link save to a working save.
  6. I'd also like to know what data was there, since the BW Tool is doing something funky. I can import previous B data to B2, update checksums, and the save appears in PKHeX, but when continuing playing only "New Game" appears. It is being converted from a dsv to a sav, but afaik sav should still be compatible with Desmume.
  7. Can flag(s) be changed (battles won) to determine what the rival's final team will be? I checked block data and there's a "starter" value of 84, but I assume that's the player's and not rival's. Thanks.
  8. Wouldn't let me leave a review so I'm just going to comment that many of these are illegal according to PKHeX.
  9. Thanks for explaining sir. I fiddled around and found the following GV values are the max for the these IV ranges (for future reference): GV -> IVs 10 -> 0 - 19 9 -> 20 - 25 8 -> 26 - 30 7 -> 31
  10. I'm editing GVs and encounter the error that a GV "is above the natural limit of (10 - IV Bonus)", but I'm not sure what IV Bonus is. I've checked the Bulbapedia page for Effort Levels/GVs, and that mentions Effort Level Bonus, but I assume it's different. Can someone explain IV Bonus? Thanks
  11. Makes sense. Thanks for looking that over and all the work you guys do on PKHeX, amazing program
  12. Ah apologies I just checked my living dex and zorua was there most special events were unsaved after crashing so I thought they were all affected. I'll retitle the post to just meloetta. Would've been crazy if Celebi's met location changed without saving, but I fully believed it. I'll try redumping my rom, thanks! Save file attached. Pokemon - White Version (USA, Europe).dsv
  13. Hi, not sure if these are known, but I found two oddities that might be worth looking into. When selecting "Complete Dex" in PKHeX and then opening the dex in-game, Meloetta's sprite is glitched out and checking the dex entry crashes the game. Her color palette also changes each time you check it. I'm not sure what parameters caused this (pirouette form?), especially since the other legendaries appear fine. I do have the dex upgrade that allows you to see different forms. The second came as a result of that. Apparently you can't reactivate the Zorua event in Castelia even if you didn't save. I was hoping an event flag could be added to the others in PKHeX to reactivate it.
