  1. *ahem* just to make this clear. the converter from shunyweb does not work from action replay .duc to other .sav formats, because that they have not updated their system yet for that purpose, and I have a feeling that they're not going to update it either. so it's best to find a program that can convert them on this message board, which are mainly in the "Save Research & Development" section of this message board. there's a few there, but I have not tested them myself, to see if they work, since I have other things to attend to.

  2. here's the thing, which pokesav are you using?

if using DP or Pt pokesav, it should work, and you can transfer the pokemon onto HG/SS.

if you're using the HG/SS pokesav, the events button is not activated yet. so there's no point in using HG/SS pokesav on the events for the time being.

also, for me, I've put my whole computer in Japanese, so I don't have-to worry about using applocale at all.

  3. that, I'm not skilled enough to dig into the ROM itself and figure out of how to re-enable the cheating on the patched games.

also, I don't know for sure it can be tricked of using cheats on patched games.

if I heard about that, I would have known about it long ago and told you all. >3>

the only two flash carts that can bypass the anti-piracy without patching, is the CycloDS and the M3i Zero with latest firmware updates from what I know of. just letting you all know.

  4. the thing is, that you should have used the PCD safe, to backup your wonder card information( if you used DPPt, and not HG/SS ). other than that, you should have left the wonder card information alone, if you don't know how to use the Japanese characters in pokesav.

if you didn't know what to do, you could have sent the sav file to someone that knows how to deal with Japanese characters and help you with that.

EDIT: whoops, didn't realize that you downloaded the Arceus from the website. in THAT case, you could've let someone help you with the Japanese characters and put it on the sav file.

EDIT2: maybe this link can help you more, if you don't want anyone else to help you.

  5. um.. have you've checked the list of AR check marks list( which is ARDS Code Output page ) in pokesav, after you editing on pokesav? the reason why that is there, is so that the only pokemon/items/etc. you want to get, will be the only things that you will get in the game. if you left everything unchecked in that page, nothing would happen, even if you push L+R.

also, your L or R buttons could be broken, so there is a list to edit the code activation buttons code somewhere.. >3>

oh, and by the way, if I were you, I would do items and the pokemon seperately; and not together, even though that I've noticed your "other" post in the save help section. ;P

  6. that's right. 1.01 is actually the oldest version of ARDS there is, but I think I've heard that 1.02 was the oldest, and I had that firmware before updating it. 1.60 is actually the latest version of ARDS firmware. the latest software for the PC is 1.22. ;P now you know.

  7. Note: I'm not sure if this should be in the debate section or not. if so, someone move this topic there. if not, then just leave it.

well, since today(08-15-09) is the 40th anniversary of Woodstock 1969. I know it seems far-fetched to bring it up in this message board, but why not?

for me, I'm all about hippie culture, and loving every bit of it(except the drugs part, since I care less about that). the music, the clothes, the colors.. oh, it was so awesome! :D

just wished that I was actually at Woodstock '69; but I wasn't even born, or even a thought yet and my mother was only 8 years of age of when that happened. XP

so, my question to you all is, what do you like(or dislike) about Woodstock of 1969?

  8. the reason why it's doing that, is because that your computer doesn't have Japanese font installed, and it comes up as weird symbols. you need to install the Japanese font, and set pokesav as Japanese with applocale or your your whole computer.

    I can be wrong though.

    now you know.

  9. ok, I've noticed that there is a lot of programs on this message board, that is all scattered around. so it got me to thinking, "maybe I should make a thread, to put all of the programs together in one, so that people can find the programs easier?" that's what made me make this thread.

these are all the programs that are listed, that has been posted onto this message board so far.

I did not list Pokesav, because you can download on the website. but now I did anyway. ;P

I did not post PokesavDS, neither PokeMod, because that the link to the programs wasn't on their threads. that's why they're left off of the list for the time being.

just remember: some of the information of the programs can be outdated, so check the original threads before posting on here and saying that this thread is outdated.

    Save editing

The Save editing tool list is now maintained at the Pokémon Editing Tool Directory

    RAM editing

    ARDS/ARDSME discs

    Action Replay DSi Code Manager

    Action Replay DS Installer

Action Replay DS Media Edition Installer

Original information link to original thread

alright, here are the ARDS and ARDSME installers of Action Replay Code Managers.

    Action Replay DS Installer

Action Replay DS Media Edition Installer

also, these have the correct NDAlink.inf files, which are the driver files, that connects your ARDS to the computer.

if the ARDS one doesn't work of connecting your ARDS to the computer, then try the ARDSME one; because they're both the same, it's just that the ARDSME one has an extra program with it.

now you don't have-to worry about losing your ARDS discs, because I've provided them for you. ;P

one more thing, you don't need to mount these on your virtual drive, to run the setup files; if you have a virtual drive.

The latest Action Replay DS updates can be found in the support section Datel's official website: Codejunkies.com

    ROM editing

The list of ROM editing tools will be maintained in the ROM forum.

if I had missed any programs, please let me know, or post the links to the threads of the programs on this thread; so I can add them onto the list, or unless a moderator can add programs to the list.

one last thing, I hope a moderator of this section can sticky this. >.>

    [edit by evandixon]

Removed programs that are obsolete or contain nothing but dead links

Removed save editing lists in favor of my more recent thread

Removed listed ROM program in favor of a bigger list of ROM editing tools

    Renamed thread from 'programs list'

I'll try to add more stuff for RAM later

  10. well, Runtime Errors can be one of these things that can trigger them.

link to information about the these possibilities

this webpage can tell you, of what's going on. it can be that something is wrong with your computer, not the program; or maybe it can be the other way around, as the program itself is screwing up, and not the computer.

but those are just my guesses.

anyway, when you have the time and chance, look up information about this on Google; because Google is your friend. >.>

  11. alright, here are the ARDS and ARDSME installers of Action Replay Code Managers.

    Action Replay DS Installer

Action Replay DS Media Edition Installer

Action Replay DSi Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7 x86/x64 Installer

also, these have the correct NDAlink.inf files, which are the driver files, that connects your ARDS to the computer.

if the ARDS one doesn't work of connecting your ARDS to the computer, then try the ARDSME one; because they're both the same, it's just that the ARDSME one has an extra program with it.

now you don't have-to worry about losing your ARDS discs, because I've provided them for you. 😜

one more thing, you don't need to mount these on your virtual drive, to run the setup files; if you have a virtual drive.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This tutorial is for people who doesn't know how to use this, or for newbies of ARDS.

If you know your way around ARDS and the Code Manager, then disregard this tutorial.

    Link to tutorial

Note: the formatting in the htm file is broken while in Google drive, but the images within the Google drive folder would work fine.

Remember, this tutorial was made before Platinum ever came out. Now you know why Platinum is not on the list in this tutorial.

Of what isn't in the tutorial

    Copying&Pasting from XML files.

Reason: When opening the XML file on notepad or wordpad, there's extra html junk in it, that's why that drag&drop XML files is much easier to do, and the txt files is best way to copy&paste.

Of what ARDS can't do from pokesav

    Event pokemon flags.

Reason: When clicking onto the "ARDS Code Output", there's no checklist of what event pokemon you want checked or unchecked. So that part is only reserved of flash carts.

If anymore of what ARDS can't do on pokesav, let me know, and I'll post the information up, after I test it out as well.

    - Soldjermon

  12. you don't drag and drop the xml file. You open the xml and copy-paste the code into your codelist.

how would you know of working AR code files that are in xml format? I know my way around ARDSCM, and hell, I even posted a tutorial about this as well. you can drag and drop XML files into the "my codelists" section of ARDSCM.

also, should this be in the RAM editing help section of the message board?

  13. are you really that impatient, of getting the code made? yeesh! stop double-triple-quadruple-quintuple posting, just to bump up the stupid topic!

we usually care mostly for USA and Japanese versions of pokemon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum; since because those are released first. if you really desperately need the code made for the Italian version or any other version, go and PM SCV, since he made the code.
