iv updated stats editor

it turns out iv just run into another problem about increasing the moveset i should hopefully fix it by tommorow 12am here so hopefully it will be released either tommorow or the next day and yes i will continue on attack editor once iv fixed the stats editor but for now moveset editor is still main pirority

twistfatal i have question:
1. for moveset editor, is include eggmove/move tutor too?
2. moveset is have 4 byte per move, 0x00-0x01 is move ID, 0x02 is level and last byte is for what? in togekiss/minchino is have byte 20 / ... (i forgot)... it will editable in you tools?
3. on pokemon stat editor is final version? you can added some function to able to edit some byte on pokemon stat data like flaq byte for spinda/trapich "30,60,90...", alternative form link flag (on stat narc data for alternative form stat like shaymin -> sky form shaymin), alternative form flag and ect, evolution tree, how many alternative form and ect? yeah maybe is not important ...
4. wild pokemon, is delayed or aborted? since netalzero was create one...? is can editable swarming pokemon? (i have data but is need test, but i no have time test both version )
5. trade in game, please fix that tools, but i was edit via HEX....
6. i was got attack editor copy in somewhere, and i was download that tools befor you delete link, yeah is plenty bug on tools, yeah but i not interesting on attack since it will can't used on online~
yeah i waiting moveset editor , in my test via HEX editor is working to expand togekiss moveset

2. i dunno what the last byte is for i tend to ignore since it doesnt effect anything
3. it is final version but i can add stuff to it if people wanna request stuff
4. the wild editor is delayed for the time being but i will finish it to make my toolbox more complete. basicaly i will still be making my own version of tools that have already been released
5. what wrong with the ingame trade editor ?
6. it will be finished after the moveset editor is finished and i know how to give all pokes 22 attacks so u can expect this when the tool is released

Can't wait for the update. I certainly don't want to seriously play test my rom edit if the exp is all messed up, since it would give an incorrect impression of the difficulty.

When i try to open my rom(for example: Black), Trade Aditor says me: Runtime error '380': Invalid Property Value. The rom is clean. Thanks a lot twisted(ah, can i modify the form of your editors? I ate that, and some comboboxes are too little for the name(example: Egg Groups). Thaks anyway.same as above
Oh I forgot to mention that, the trade editor's White version works for both BW but the Black version doesn't at all; it gives the error IAL said about above. Black and White have two differing trades from eachother (the Cottonee/Petilil and the Basculin one) but since the Black one doesn't work, you can only edit the remaining five trades with the White bit. Since Black is broken it's impossible to edit the Cottonee and Red Basculin trade.tl;dr There's an error with the Black section of the trade tool.
il add narc support for this tool later on today
I guess it must share some of the offsets, though granted I don't know how these tools are actually coded.For the record, you can hex edit the a/1/6/5 narc if you want to do the trades manually.

Well, I don't care about narc editing right now. What I do care about is correct Max XP numbers.
Example:
Right now it looks like this
Snivy Max XP: 600000
Servine Max XP: 1640000
Serperior Max XP: 1059860
It should be:
Snivy Max XP: 1059860
Servine Max XP: 1059860
Serperior Max XP: 1059860
Pretty much every Pokemon has the wrong Max XP number.
I don't know why these numbers came out wrong when all the other numbers are fine, but it needs to be fixed.
And sometimes when I manually change the number to the correct one, it gives me Runtime Error '6'. For instance, the program lists Audino as having 1640000 Max XP, but it should only have 800000 Max XP. But changing it to 800000 makes the program crash.
this will be fixed in next release. also i now know how to edit narcs lol with credits to pedro250 and netalzero so il be uploading soon later today.

This is Really Needed as Aragornbird also pointed out, since it´s troublesome to use the method suggested be Aragornbird everytime you edit somethin previously to using your tools, i got an error message because of that when i was going to use the ingame trade editor since i had previously moded my rom with Netalzero´s Wild Pokemon Editor.
the only way i can do this is by adding narc support which im currently learning how to do. i have a method of doing it but it will take a long time. im currently trying to find a faster way tho
editing narc file is the best for editing on different tools~ because since is change byte (Hex offset+byte location will change!) and added a new byte like pokemon move editor (is can expand more than 20~)~@twistfatal : you can added a move tutor on you HM/TM editor?
nah im doing the moveset editor as a new project. in the moveset editor you can edit moveset ovb. move tutors. and egg moves.
im not entirly sure how to extend the moveset tho if you would like to write me a tutorial it would be much appreciated and you would get credits in the final tool

I want to use the application BWME only that there is a problem! When I open the application NitroExplorer2 and extract the narc (a/1/8/0), it works. But when I open the application editor.exe and open the narc who ask, does not work! How do I do ???!!! If anyone has a video to explain, show me!
When i open .narc that says: "Could not open file... Unsupported file format."

you do realise that trdata and trpoke are for editing trainers pokemon only you cant use them to edit mugshots anyway what you need to do is
1. Extract the the narc using nitroexplorer.exe (a/1/8/0) or editor
2. open editor.exe and load the 0.narc then select all and extract
3. open editor again if closed and click on tools then lz batch decompress
4.then open bwme and select the folder where the compressed files went
that should be all. but i keep getting index was outside the bounds of the array

Just noticed a glitch with the Stat Editor; you cannot give a Pokemon Teravolt as a Dream World ability, unless I'm missing something here.
this will be fixed in the next release im currently upgrading the stats editor to vb2010 im trying to add the abilty to edit narc

I just redownloaded, and tried to edit White(Clean), editing deoxys speed again and when Iclick save alternate forms I get
Run-time error '75':
Path/File access error
My guess is that it's because I have the file set as readonly.
EDIT: Yes it's because it was readonly, perhaps the program should create a new file if this is the case.
EDIT 2: I have reason to believe that the program is retreving base exp. incorrectly...
EDIT 3: I also have reson to believe the monster egg group is being read as water 3, as well as humanshape missing completely
1. i dont know how to do this and the program writes to the rom so it should be read and write enabled
2. nope the base exp is correct check bulbapedia if you want

Twistedfatal, as you've worked with vb2010, did you had to use a script that reversed hex?
nah no script put this in a command or list and it will automatically reverse the hex for you

if it dont work then you are using a diffrent method of opening roms to me

OK, i will research myself for narc location, i using 3 clean ROM, 1 is modified using you tools, and 2 is using compare. so i can know hex offset is changes , so i easy found narc location on crystaltile2 but is need big RAM i just have 2 GB RAM,
my layer : 1366 x 768 resolution (smaller?)

You tools is still buggy twistfatal, for stat editor, why for alternate form is give a error? "Insufficient Value in One Box" ?
The Stat editor does work re download. and for the tmhm your getting that error because the rom is loaded by the hex editor the tmhm can only work when nothing else is using the rom

Thank you for hm/tm, so finally i can manipulate my hack pokemon , but tm/hm and moveset is sharing content, if move on tm/hm was checked like flamethrower on togekiss, in pokemon move level up if added flamethrower move, it will skip......
You know location (narc) or hex offset for:
- base xp, happines, egg , max xp, egg group is still same same location?
- TM/HM?

my suggestion, you can kept editing via ROM, but in readme you can give a detail for location (hex offset or narc)? is helping people if used ROM (not clean ROM) but still used Clean ROM for editing.

i dont know the narc locations for them because i dont use narcs and i wont be writing hex offsets because all u need to do is replace narcs
also what resolution do you use. i made this tools with 1280.1024 resolution

try re downloading the tools from zippyshare its very fast and i did upload twice coz the 1st time a i made a mistake but their fixed now

I am trying to edit Deoxys-s's Stats, Ability, and Type in White(Clean), but everytime I click save, a box pops up saying "Click an Attack to Begin" So i click OK and another box replaces that saying "Insufficient Value in One Box".
Even if I just change the HP Stat, and click save that same thing happens.
ah shit i just checked i forgot to change list1 to list3 oops my bad this will be fixed in newer version which will be out soon soz about this

Well I do use Wine and X11 to run some .net framework I am just curious if "winetricks" is the same thing as Wine.
winetricks is a addon for wine to allow wine to better support certain windows programs i manage to use ppre and other tools with that winetricks script

I am giving rom hacking my first attempt with Pokemon Gold. I have been doing research (unsuccessfully) on an editor for changing the pokemon/trainer battle/intro/overworld sprites or any of the previous as a single editor. The problem is I am using a mac, with X11 and Wine; so most editors I try to use do not work. If anyone educated in this subject is out there reading this please help me or at best, provide me with an editor that fits my standard.

google search for "winetricks" script for mac it should have .net framework in the script. thats how i manage to get .net apps to work on ubuntu

If you will create wild pokemon editor. You must create location pokemon on pokedex too.
the wild pokemon has nothing to do with the pokedex order. you would still need the national dex anyway, and the only way you can get early is scripting which is not what i do
