AFAIK pk3ds doesn't allow editing from .3ds. Any way to get the binary dump from a .3ds file?

Hi, New to save editing, but I'm editing a pokemon with 1 ability and I can't seem to give it a second/third ability. I've seen a box with 1/2/3 in it, but that box doesn't appear for me. How do I enable it? My save is BW2 Cheers,
