If your getting an egg your not doing it right the same thing was happening to me after you create your pokemon click save as and drop down the box and select .EKX file save it to your desktop the file is still going to show up as EXAMPLE.PKX don't worry all you have to do is copy the file into the root of your SD card and then rename it pokemon.EKX and you should be all set to go.

I'm following the steps exactly but no matter what I do I keep getting an egg im creating it in pk hex saving as all files .ekx keeps showing up as egg in slot one any ideas?
