Actually, PKHeX is a great idea, and the 3ds is designed to not be exploitable.

Is everyone looking forward to the release of Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon? I am! In preparation for their release later this year, we now have a Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon forum dedicated to the discussion of these games!

I've learned a LOOOT ever since for 3DS / Rom hacking in general. Kinda even released my own OR romhack but the darn mods of Rom Hacking Showcase either aren't approving my post for it or are MIA entirely :eek:! I did post it on GBATemp and reddit.com/r/3dshacks though. If you happen to be interested, it's called Sigma Ruby.

I even read that with programs other than PKHeX we can give ourselves fancy model hacks such as shadow lugia or primal dialga.

You were thinking of Ohana3DS and other editors to edit models of Pokemon for X/Y OR/AS.

In some cases maintainability is more important than performance. Even the original games had a data file that's read on demand.

But regardless how you do it, good luck!

To do this, you need to code flygon to mega evolve into trapinch/vibrava. Then, remodel trapinch/vibrava to your mega flygon design, and change the stats/ability. So far, It's the only way to make a new mega from scratch. It makes the game not playable, unless, you use a pokemon that you wouldn't be able to get, such as Volcanion, Hoopa, or any Mythical Pokemon for that part. You just can't trade to get that pokemon, otherwise it breaks the game. I'm going to try to use this to make a hack of X/Y to make a Mega Zygarde. It's gonna be called XZ/YZ. Im gonna keep my fingers crossed that that's not gonna be the name of the next actual game, otherwise I'd be sued

I'd create that game as a backup. Just in case if they don't make another remake

Download 7zip and never have to deal with winrar again. The archive has an executable patcher which runs against an unpacked ROM directory. The ROM can be rebuilt again as a .3DS (RedCard) or a .CIA (SD Card for a CIA installer). This requires a Gateway!

I have Windows 8.1. Actually. So. 7-Zip is already installed with that. And also. I still have both of my Gateway carts with Me

Actually it uses the browser exploit too, but it still needs the kernel access exploit that is only available in <=9.2. But no extra hardware is required (unless you count sdcard readers).

Either way I'm gonna update soon, there's no way we're getting another kernel exploit soon. Even if one is known, Gateway wouldn't release it just now because 9.2 is still recent (>4.5 took over 2 years), and the individual reverse engineers wouldn't either because "muh antipiracy".

Even simpler, we could just spoof the firmware version and launch eShop to update our stuff.

Sadly it's <=9.2 only and I'm on 9.5.0-22 as well, I would really like to use it but it needs a kernel exploit (which we won't see any time soon). Guess I'll have to just inject everything and move on.

Firmware spoofing would be with the Gateway Cartridge. But We're talking about the web injection

For those running 9.2 fw or under you could set up an emunand and use rxtools to play all your retail games and stuff online on the latest firmware while using sysnand to do your injection/exploits.

I used to have 9.4 actually. But not 9.2. But Now I have 9.5 and the web injections still work though

You need to delete it through memory management in the 3ds system settings. Mind you that when deleted you need to once more spoof your firmware to download the patches again to play online. Something possible on at most 9.2.0.

Okay. I'm at the Data Management on my 3DS console. And I see Pokemon OR/AS on the third strip. In Extra Data

Also, you could just temporarily delete the ORAS/XY patches when you are using the web exploit. Go to your 3DS's Data settings and remove the Extra content for Pokemon in there.

All you have to do to make the Pokemon work online is reroll the PID, that's what I did and it worked it has nothing to do with them being "region locked" because they can't be region locked. When you trade Pokemon with someone who's 3DS Region, Country and/or Sub Region you can still battle with that Pokemon online and when you put the pokemon into PKHeX the 3DS Region, Country and Sub Region are the person's they don't change to yours

Yeah. But i'm using PCedit. And once I edit one pokemon and move on to the next. And go back to the other. The poke doesn't change

I think the problem is, if you look here: http://www.smogon.com/dex/xy/pokemon/metagross that the unreleased set is missing EVs and Nature.

Interesting, I can't really tell you why. You could try to change the region with the Mass Editor and then try again, but I don't know if this will fix it.

I tried using the Smogon pokes online. And non were able to participate. I mean the met looks perfect

Sorry you feel that way, but try compiling from source or something instead of continually being rude in my thread. I dont own windows 8, therefore it's hard to troubleshoot the issue. As I've said before, other windows 8 users have had problems said that running it off a flash drive worked. The people i've got to beta test on win8 said it ran fine without a flashdrive even, so check your installation as well. It's a mystery problem

Well. I'll try to beta test the 3 deminsional editor on my windows 8.1 Huelett Packard laptop. Because. I know it's a new processing system for an updated version and all that stuff
