I'm not sure if it is this rom or not, but I'm having trouble loading save states. Anybody else?

Update 3 is working just fine. Must easier than the previous one for me. Thanks. For those who are curious, wait until the .dos file closes before proceeding.

I'm having an odd problem with this. I've tried to patch using all the available options provided in the first post, and each time it comes up with 0kbs for the file. Did what it told me to do in the readme.txt and still, is not working. Am I just not waiting long enough? Each time I wait about 15 minutes before trying again with a new file. I'm opening the editme.bat file and doing what the readme says, still nothing is happening. When I do it through this method no file appears at all. Any help? Edit: Tried it again with the editme.bat file, this time I did get a 0kb file. But it has not changed to a larger size.
