Old savefile (of the rom patched with the 2d _P version) doesn't work.

I've the same problem! Is there a way to make the old save work? I began the game with the 2d version, exactly the SSE_P.

I didn't tried the version 3b coz my sav file doesn't work with it but i think no, you should use Rudolph's patch (go to page 3) to stop freeze. There's also a cheat code that helps stopping freeze.
