  1. Thanks to RAM2Sav I was finally able to export all the Wondercards in my possession.

  3. ;)

I've got no definitive confirmation that they weren't also distributed through slot-2 cartridges. However, since I've always been able to find details of local wireless distributions whenever they have been different from standard (i.e. Goon's Scizor and Ash's Pikachu via DS Download Stations, the recent Zoroark distribution via IR, which I confirm; slot-2 events in other languages), I believe I would have found details about a slot-2 distribution if it had happened. Another fact: in April, 2010, the DSi has been launched in Korea; I think it's safe to assume that every event after that date has been distributed through local wireless (in order to not exclude DSi players from the distribution).

  4. Here it is. For each Korean event in the archive I've listed the distribution method (almost all through local wireless), and additional info about the event itself.

There's a separate list for missing Korean events, with more info about the Pokémon themselves (OT, Trainer ID, Nature, held item), to help check future contributions (if someone will ever post them).

I'm unsure of the status of the Crown Beasts (hopefully my info will help clarify the matter), so I've put all of them in the first list, regardless of their presence in the archive.

  5. The Legality Checker doesn't support Gen V Pokémon, and it's unlikely they'll be ever supported.

After the shift to Gen V, any Gen IV Pokémon will keep its original PID. Gen V PID generation methods are only for Pokémon originated from B/W.

  6. I have a quick question about "b) Make a Pokémon seem transferred from Generation IV" Following those steps gave me a Pokemon reading "Apparently met at Lv. X", but then I've compared it to an acctual pokemon that was transferred reading "Apparently arrived at Lv. X". So my question is, did I do something wrong, and if so what?

Could you please provide a *.pkm file, so I can check it?

    Shloopie:

    Thank you so much! :)

  7. I've checked this thread, I had totally missed that three Italian Ranger 3 Deoxys still haven't been contributed. Here they are, from my collection.

  8. How do you edit existing mons in pokegen? I was told you can't do that. And I know pokesav isn't as good; I just have a lot of experience with it and no idea really with pokegen. Also pokesav lets you change a few other things that I don't think pokegen does, besides just mons.

To edit existing Pokèmon, just open a *.pkm file. It'll work even if you've already opened a save file. To edit a Pokémon already present in the save file, right click on the Pokémon's icon -> View. To apply changes, right click -> Set.

PokéSav makes you edit your Trainer's data, money, and item, and I guess it's good for this basic edits. For more complex things (Pokémon and WonderCard importing/editing), I strongly suggest to use PokéGen and Grovyle91's PMGE, respectively.

  9. I've updated the guide describing how to make a Pokémon seem obtained from the Dream World, and I've expanded the part about Dream World Abilities as well. The guide is now updated to the latest PokéGen version.

    The Golux:

If you're editing a Gen V *.pkm file, then yes, PID is only related to Ability, so you can freely edit its IVs and Nature. Of course you can edit all these values in PokéSav, but... Let me put it this way: using PokéSav is like insisting on cutting bread with an old, dull-bladed butcher knife without a proper handle, and refusing to use the shiny brand-new bread knife in front of you. PokéGen is that shiny new tool.

  10. Can anyone add any pointers or provide what is perhaps a commonly missed mistake when dealing with generating legendary pokémon through pokégen? Thanks :)

If the issue lies in the 'Met' tab, check if you've set its Location as 'Guidance Chamber' -- it shouldn't be 'Mistralton Cave' like commonly found on resources like Bulbapedia, Serebii, etc.
