Thanks, that was was I was looking for for awhile, I wanted to confirm if there's checksums/encryption in the format now since manual editing just seems to create invalid pokemon.

I caught a Rockruff during my challenge, I forget if I used normal or great ball. But probably great as I remember it being in yellow HP because it was decimating my team. I think the idea with pokemon that flee is to disable them or prevent them from fleeing using skills. It's a pain but creates a challenge I guess.

So I finally got my hands on my savefile for Alpha Sapphire, wanted to see about adding wondercards etc to my game and any future prospects since GPL is closing and I've only just started playing for the first time. So I wanted to test how safe PKHeX is to my savefile, and right now it's a fail. All I simply did was change my Torchic from male to female, yet it seems to change quite a few bits of data. What is PKHeX changing? (The last changed block is actually only a few bytes but Hex Workshop gets a little greedy with comparing) EDIT1: So simply opening the save, viewing the party-pokemon's details and then setting them (Not changing anything at all), still causes most of the changes, except 1 byte, which I assume is the gender. My opinion is that Pokegen isn't nearly mature enough or versatile enough to warrant such a fee for use. Just because pokesav is lagging, charging a captive market where your app only fills the gap seems a little greedy. I dunno, my take is the app doesn't seem worth the fee for me, it'd have to be a lot more developed first and have at least twice as many features, including at least parity with pokesav.

Yeah the old forum post posted up a really old version, so it might be confusing to some people which to get, I haven't tested with the updated PGL to make sure that it works fully, but there shouldn't be any major problems.

I have an original R4 on an DS Lite using Wood R4 OS, and I just seem to get a black screen when starting the program. This is with .30 RC1 btw. .24 is working but the moment I stick my White cart in, the Lite reboots to system menu and crashes.

Hiya, I'm Pyrii from the South of the UK. I recently brushed off HeartGold on a trip to London and got the Pokemon bug again, I then moved instead to start Pokemon White and have been banging my head against a wall ever since. I'm looking to pre-order White 2 and wondered about compiling a list of prices in the same way I've done so for the 3DS XL on GBATemp. Would such a thing be helpful here? And where would I put it? You can see my Pokemon White team at the moment in my signature, but it's hard to update, are there any better places for tracking your progress/team and putting them in a signature?
