  1. same here... Did you test tubehax even if you haven't changed the firmware selection to 10.0? Is it safe too?
  2. I tried pressing that button, but instead it just went to the homebrew instead of the firmware selection. Just wanted to select again the firmware to the correct one so the homebrew I'll be using is for 10.0.x
  3. It's only until December that I'll have the money to buy this 2DS x'D BTW another question... In Tubehax, how do I choose again my firmware? Like for example my very first Tubehax "installation" was where I choose "OLD 9.9.something"... Do I have to delete & re-download YouTube again to choose "OLD 10.0.something" ?
  4. As what I said in the beginning... it's better for me just to buy the 2DS with the Ironfall, because you can't just transfer the Ironfall to my main 2DS without having my apps/games permanently deleted. And will also need a 2nd 2DS to transfer my Pokemon eggs and items, and trade evolutions between carts without the need to beg in the forums. Got Tubehax on my own 2DS actually, but because of a mindset that Youtube will be patched on future updates, I'll just need Ironhax because it doesn't need internet unlike Tubehax.
  5. This 2DS I have right now with the Ironfall is the rental one. It doesn't have much games here besides Ironfall, Flipnote 3D (which I'm not sure if it's free or not?) & some demos, which are free anyways. Also it has empty eShop account as of now. The 2DS which I currently own however has no Ironfall (knew it too late, after it was removed from eShop ), but I've already downloaded some important apps/games here such as Pokebank, Colors 3D, KORG M01D, etc... a year ago If I do a system transfer from the one with Ironfall to the one without it, my other downloaded games/apps from my own 2DS will be deleted/overwritten right? Will my own NNID account in my target system be deleted too? Sorry for this questions, I'm still a n00b about this system transfer thing. I don't want my apps/games to be deleted (unless maybe if I can redownload them for free, which is acceptable), especially the expensive apps I got are KORG M01D & KORG DSN-12 (music-maker apps BTW).
  6. Too bad I don't have Smash, as I'm not much of a fan of it x'D EDIT: Oh, the free Demo does it too? Let me update my own 2DS first (the one without Ironfall) & go to e-Shop x'D Quick question: BTW that Smash demo has a limited amount of uses, at 30. Does it mean this new Smash-Hax will have a limited amount of uses too? :0
  7. lol digital is expen$ive, might not buy some games I don't need to play only for the sole purpose of hacking x'D (I might if it's retail, probably) BTW, a question about restoring/backing up saves in the main Pokemon games. If you accidentally press "B" to restore & overwrite your save instead of backing up by pressing "A", while the "main" file from your SD is deleted, your recent save file will still be safe, right?
  8. Hmm never knew that until now, although I'm hearing about OoT3Dhax before but I thought to myself it just simply means wither of the 3: Iron-, Tube-, & Ninj- hax. Then again I'll need some ca$h for Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D x'D
  9. Ahh ok thanks Although I'm kinda planning to buy that 2DS eventually but still haven't got money yet till December, just for the sole purpose of Ironhax, since it doesn't need an internet connection unlike Tubehax x'D How about Ninjhax? it also doesn't need internet right?
  10. BTW, how do I undo the Ironhax from Ironfall? Just wondering, because this 3DS with the Ironfall was just a rental BTW, and I don't want somebody else who may rent it to accidentally brick their game... especially if they get curious on that save name called "Ironhax" when they open Ironfall.
  11. I just rented another 2DS for 5 days. It's updated to 10.0.something, and thankfully it has Ironfall downloaded, which my own 2DS doesn't have, and I successfully used Ironhax BTW, Ironhax doesn't require an internet connection on subsequent uses right? And another question... is it safe to update Ironfall for us to continue using Ironhax (I keep getting that update message in the bottom part of the top screen)? And is that recent update v1.1? Does updating Ironfall make any difference?
  12. Do we have to update if we want to go to Youtube? Because somebody in reddit says so that he's forced to update if he wants to use Tubehax... Also does save injection still work?
  13. Only thing missing now is how to do RNG Abuse in Gen 6. Since there's this save manager, maybe this will be used to find what seed you're already at. But I guess RNG abuse here is harder than what it appears...
  14. Where can I find a .wc6 of a shiny Arceus from that Japanese Arceus event? I tried digging in the Event Contribution Thread but I find nothing...
  15. How do I edit & reload my XY/ORAS save? I tried using this Save Manager but after the attempted reload, nothing happened to my old save. I did the usual thing I did to Rumble World, only this time a file called "main" will appear after backing up my XY/ORAS save, and it's around 406 kb. I edited to my desire, then saved the edited file back... then imported the save back using Save Manager... and no changes were made in my Y cart? EDIT: Never mind, it worked. But I have no idea why it didn't work the first time. It might be probably the fact that there's another folder there after I backed up my old Rumble World save, and after deleting it, the reload to my Pokemon Y suddenly worked.
  16. I'm glad this also works on Pokemon Rumble World too & also Shuffle (haven't tested Shuffle yet myself but others says it also works). Still gonna test it for XY/ORAS later. I hope this won't get patched though
  17. Yeah I was asking what that secure value thing is, because from both the Rumble World & Shuffle Threads, before Save Manager is out, it always says to delete it to prevent corruption: http://gbatemp.net/threads/pokemon-rumble-world-diamonds-p-tool.386526/ & http://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-savedatafiler-pok%C3%A9mon-shuffle-free-diamonds-and-coins-golds.393568/
  18. Thanks for the answers BTW, for games like Shuffle or Rumble World, there's that instruction for us to delete the "secure value" or whatever it is, before reloading the save, so it will not get corrupted. But how will I delete the secure value using save manager?
  19. OK I'm about to get my game & its SD card to start putting that save manager to my homebrew. How will I do that? Just paste the "save_manager" folder & its contents inside the "3DS" folder? EDIT: Also about that Shuffle post, it says SaveDataFiller too. What's SaveDataFiller? I thought I'll only use that in conjunction with Gateway? Or is that the old version of this new save manger?
  20. Ah yeah, already have YouTube, and already have Tubehax Another question though, as I'm recently addicted to Rumble World... there's this Rumble World editor made by SciresM (same one who did RAM2Sav IIRC): http://gbatemp.net/threads/pokemon-rumble-world-diamonds-p-tool.386526/ As I read further, it says I require Gateway to edit my rumble world save (prior to the save manager's release). Question is, can I use this Save Manager to use that Rumble World editor & edit my save? And yeah, the old instructions are here (which says I require SaveDataFiller?)... http://gbatemp.net/threads/pokemon-rumble-world-diamonds-p-tool.386526/page-6#post-5451546
  21. Nice, but does this new homebrew require us to have something else like Sky3DS, un-updated 3DS, or Gateway? (which I neither have sadly)
  22. Hopefully he'll be done before youtube is patched or forcing us to update or else not being able to connect to the net until I get another 3DS
  23. So yeah, to summarize, TubeHax is my only option (too costly to go buy Cubic Ninja for the 3rd option lol) Maybe I should check Project Pokemon once every week I wonder if other free stuff from eShop will be the next victim x'D BTW, is there an updated tutorial to make custom themes? I think I found one, but some aspects might be a bit outdated: https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-how-to-make-a-custom-3ds-theme.377533/page-2
  24. Never mind... I just copied the contents of the file to the root of my SD card, instead of having the same files put in a folder before putting to the SD root. Not entirely sure if that's the cause, but I just assume it is. Already works, although I think it's normal for it to crash the first time?
  25. I tried using the Homebrew the first time... Seems to always crash (Either it stops with a red screen in the bottom, or it just prompts me to restart the system) I followed everything correctly, my version is 9.9.0-26U, using a 2DS (chose "OLD 9.9.0"), set the DNS to 107.211.140.065. EDIT: I just put the Homebrew starter kit folder in the root of my SD, which is this: http://smealum.github.io/3ds/
