I'll clarify somethings:

I think anime's worse. A lot of the time, western cartoons are not meant to be taken seriously; and it tells you that. Just don't care. In anime, most of the time it tells you should, although what's going on is very typical and the characters are boring and most of the time it's so over-the-top that it becomes silly. Not only that, while Western cartoons are just crazy, anime is unnecessarily sexual and violent. Also, 7/8th of the stories aren't that interesting. And yet, it is overrated.

Also, that picture, I meant to say I've seen it already. <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/laugh.png" alt="xD" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/laugh@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I tend to write things that I am thinking, so when I was thinking of the article, I accidentally wrote that about the article.

Yes, I agree. I was actually going to mention that as well, but our lives are dictated by money so much that it's painful. X(

If I could, I would probably devote myself to the things I enjoy, which would be writing, reading, and perhaps music, were it not for the high demands of our world and how we need big businesses to live. I mean, blargh.

It's also funny because getting work is harder than ever, and I feel that is partially because the employers want to save money for themselves, and that they also are way, way too picky with what is required. Oh you want to be a cashier? Okay let's see your resume... Strong leadership skills, excellent teamworking skills, university level math, takes engineering, failed one course... You know what because I don't really like you enough I'm not hiring you. Imo, anime's are pretty much no different, if not worse.

I would just feel humiliated to no end if I failed, and in this world, if you don't do well in school, you'll be flipping burgers or working in a factory for the rest of your life. My dad was, which I found out recently, going to either be a mechanic or even a philosopher, but that didn't happen, and he too doesn't want me to end up like him. ;(

Adventure time? Is that an MLP knock off or just some random show you bumped into? Because I have never heard of it before...

I might've mentioned this to you before, but my only gripe with it is that it is all electronic. Well, I used to not care at all, but I've changed a little. My most important class to me - English, has improved quite a bit.

Reason why it upset me is because I wanted to take a higher level so I could open up some options, and the teachers approved of my objective. However, I felt miserable because the only thing hurting me was myself - my lack of work ethic and so on. I'm not going to go in depth, when I was younger I felt completely useless because I was not good at anything. Now that I have found I have, it feels more rewarding to try harder, and I realized that all the lies the school told me about my intelligence was also false... So I like myself more.

Well, you were saying "move on and get a life, SO".

Indeed, I looked up AJ on DA to see what I could and it was pretty painful. Even though there were some actual "Pony" renditions of her character, it was a little hard when there were so many humanized/anime verisons, and like you say, they all are skimpy and stuff, trying to have sexual appeal. Funny, this is a pony? But people are annoying and stuff. I think one of the reasons people do such a thing is A) she's south american, so use that excuse, and B) is that related to her voice actor? I don't know, but I'm really sick of it. If you look up Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie, the results aren't nearly as bad.

Last I heard, he was outraged by fail art, and so, he is on his way to rid the world of them.

I know you aren't fond of metal, but here's something I stumbled across that's interesting to say the least.

I'm sort of similar, but I when they're available I enjoy hanging around certain people.

I suppose, it's just something I can't comment on too much. Not too much reason I've got to be informed of these things, though, because I'm almost constantly aware of this kind of stuff.

Okay, that's one thing I am lucky to have... Family connections. I suppose that being able to connect with your own family is quite important, but I see a lot of rivalry between other families I see, and that really confuses me. Well, it used to anyway, but eh...

Fitting in is overrated. It's too generic to be put into, and there's never someone who completely fits in. Doesn't that say something? People consider me the lonely, angry person, which can be true in some cases, but I am actually rather friendly - they just don't understand the fact I choose not speak so often.

Still, I am similar. However, I am not too bothered by the whole "loner" aspect, because I realized I only had friends is because I did things they thought were cool, but when I started to change and mature, while they stayed behind, they look at me, all confused. Besides, I don't consider someone a friend if I am friendly to them, I actually have to respect them, and unlike most people, when I say "respect" it's a little stronger than just "being nice". Say what you will, and I have yet to meet people with similar opinions and such, because I'm surrounded by hooligans... Yearly.

I can relate. Actually, I listen to metal when I'm in a better mood (of all things?!), because that's what can hurt people. Some people who listen to some songs (artist of 3/mine) actually say it makes them happier, because some lyrics are heavy while some are soft. It's strange. Also there is metal that's actually very cheerful, there's this one unsigned artist named Being that makes spacey-themed metal that's rather cheerful and jolly in contrast to stereotypical metal. I also listen to metal, though, when there's a specific mood that I'm in, and sometimes for story-making ness, when there is action or something of the sort.

But I agree, approach with caution.

What do I listen to when I am sad? Uh... Don't know if I'll mention that, but...

Some songs, actually, I can relate to, particularly the beginning of the song "3" with a brief lyric saying "I never fit into the model they designed, I chose a path less taken, and I got cold stares" or something like that. While not directly associated with what he meant "metal artist" I behave differently from the common teenager, and whenever I tried to fit in, it felt strange and never worked. I realized I just don't fit into the stereotype. The songs I do not relate to, though, are the ones that are extravagantly violent. Rob Zombie is an example, because although his instrumentals are decent enough (for my tastes anway) his songs were associated with sex (sometimes) and I didn't like it a whole lot. One artist named "A perfect Circle" made a song called "the package" which I COMPLETELY relate to, because it reminds me of someone... Who gave our family trouble, simply put.

Indeed. Sorry if I made you sound like you were completely wrong. Marylin Manson? I heard he was bad. I don't really know him too well, but my brother did mention he was a bit... Bizarre.

Hmm, sounds a little extreme. Despite how noisy it can be (well, most music, like Trumpets, etc are loud too) I usually try to play it so that it doesn't hurt my ears. Sounds ironic? I actually never really play it to bother other people...

Hahaha! Yeah, don't worry, I plan to practice acoustic first. After all, my sister plays Acoustic (and if I'm correct) she played a little bit of electric. However, there's also my dad, who tends to support me with any interest I have (unless, you know) and plays bass/guitar himself. So, I'm not going to be a fool and leap into it, I'll take it slow, because it's something I find I like, and I get my own ideas for it that I would love to reach... Yeah.

Just to add what I couldn't, even though I listen to many songs that are otherwise dark and, to some extremes, controversial, I have actually not become any more violent. In fact, I realized I've become softer, because I feel terrible if I kill a spider for being around me, or any insect for that matter. Usually people who do these terrible things are already a little messed up in the first place.

Also, what if the terrorists listened to another band? Or nothing at all? Would they do nothing? Who knows. However, the fact is that they went to a school and just went rampant, although coincidentally they were listening to a German Band.

Conversely, it has the opposite effect as well. Yes, music does effect people. That's true. In some cases, music has saved people's lives. Then you have to think, though, who chose to listen to it, and the mentality of the person as well.

And of course, these evil bands would never make music like this:

If it makes you feel any better about the entire subject, when I said I was hoping to play Guitar, I was actually hinting that I wanted to play my favourite (yet despised) genre. I also want to add that yes, there is bad music out there, but ultimately it is the one who does the act themselves. Music affects people, but the artist should not be held responsible for murder unless they were involved - even if the songs have dark subject matter.

By negative media, I mean blamed for something they didn't do. I know this one German Metal artist was blamed for making heavy tracks that terrorists listened to while they attacked a school, and used that as an excuse for being trigger happy and stuff. For your information, the band was in no way affiliated with these people. They were also target for ridicule again when they were blamed for this smaller massacre that happened because the criminals were fans of the band, even though they said the band had nothing to do with their decision.

Another band I know, also a metal band, was almost put to a death sentence for something they didn't do, but I haven't researched that one. What's your take?

Hmm, I've had Rhyperior survive an energy ball from Yanmega under a sandstorm, but I suppose that unless Rhyperior is mostly bulk in all regards, perhaps, but for the most part it may not... SO MANY VARIABLES. >.<
