Yeah now grass types are better. I ez happy. Ghost is a bit situational, but I'm really sad that ice types didn't get a buff. But... That's kinda redundant at this point.

I agree, I do wish Fairy was weak to either Psychic or Dark or even just neutral. Heck, maybe even be good on each other. In many RPGS, it is really open-ended and light can be weak or effective on darkness. Also why isn't Xerneas Fairy/Grass? It would've been PERFECT. But nope. Can't have a 4X weakness to something that's what they thought.

Yeah, Ghost will be petrifying if they ever get a outrage special attack... D: Normal types suddenly seem more useful now! And they've got a lot of resistances as well! I still believe Darks won't be as good, but not being weak to steel makes my Umbreon's Payback and Foul play more useful. Not that I have one, but on simulators.

Yeah I know 100 is still fast, but I said that'll be it's highest stat.

Watches it become 90.

X_X Still reasonably fast but not too fast. I thought it should be bulkier but slower IMO, with a bit of an attack boost.

Still got to see how it unfolds.

I like Amaura a bit more, but I still really, really like Tyrunt. Hopefully it gets some good treatment. It'll be exciting (but also annoying) to actually have to see how they all play out rather than seeing it on smogon and in Japan n' such.

Also, I just noticed: Quilladin. ADIN. PALADIN. KNIGHT. GOOD GUY. (usually associated with goodness, at least in World of Warcraft). GRASS/FIGHTING KNIGHT PLEASE. Nut/Knight? Get it?

For paralysis... We'll see. I find it kinda neat, though Limber for Stunfisk is even more useless.

For ghosts, very situational but at least it's a buff. I think Ghosts will be even scarier now D:

For Grasses, yay! They could use a buff, aside from that... y'know... One type. yeah.

Maybe next time. We'll see.

As for Mega Garchomp... Yeah it's speed will be at most 100, IMO, and without scarf that's actually not all that fast. Also it can't rely on sashes or yache berries none, so that'll make it hampered. But if they'd even consider it to be slower that's an interesting trade-off.

I like Tyrunt. But it's probably favourited over Amaura.

And yes, Fairies are the next dragon/fighting (wouldn't that be a ridiculous type!) So yeah, it's an anti-metagame type. And I'm also sad that Ice wasn't buffed. I can't really comment on it other than I agree, but I had a feeling that wouldn't happen.

Just wanted to inform you that the name leak thing you showed me is legit. I went back and checked their names and they match up with the revealed starter evolutions. I haven't clarified it with other mons, because I wasn't on my comp.

Just thought I'd throw this out there. May lead to Chespin being something other than Grass/Ground, and Froakie will either be Water/Dark or Water/Fighting, since one of it's parts has to due with the moon, and if it's a ninja, ninjas reside in darkness.

But Chespin's first stage is bleh - hopefully they pull an Emboar design wise and make it awesome.

My bugs are now weak to my brother's fairies and psychics. How dare he.

Someone needs to start a petition or something. A patch though sounds like it is possible but I don't know if GF will do it. Not to mention they have no plans for DLC (which, at least, means you don't need to pay real money for a frigging hat).

Here's what I wrote on DA for the Rex and my thoughts:

I think with the T-Rex, though, it's cool because it's 4X resistant to Fire,it's resistant to electric too. It's also resistant to normal and poison and flying, though it's weak to Fairy, Fighting, Dragon, Ice, Steel and ground. So on one end it's solid but on another... It's bad. It's ability is interesting though, I wonder if it means biting means in general will be better? i always thought the fire, thunder and ice fang moves were cool but not very useful, hopefully they see some use because of this guy. When I can I will most certainly add him to my team. I see it being not too fast or slow, having A LOT of attack, and decent durability.

His resistances sound kinda bleh,

They just need one more mainstream weakness and they're fine, theoretically. But nope, two incredibly rare types that resist three and have an immunity. Dark and Bug at least are not common without stab, although Fairies will perfectly counter most fighters. Fairies are technically anti-metagame, so yeah. I figured they would be.

I already did like a small thing for the T-Rex... It'll be better than the Long neck. I hate to say it but it's true. Seriously. Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment, in regards to the Ice type being buffed. (Then they decide to patch the game, which they could do since it's the 3DS, and alter the type chart. LOL that won't happen <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/sad.png" alt=":(" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/sad@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" /> )

Well if they retype Togekiss and make it Fairy/Flying there's two of it's stabs down the drain, though Stone Edge will still hit crazily hard.

At least there are ways to be immune to it. But the competitive community may not feel like dealing with it.

The fossil pokemon are lopsided for me, on one end, you've got A FRIGGING T-REX, and on the other, you've got this... really...bland...thing. But it's ability is... interesting at least. It gets stab on normal moves without being a normal type itself. Cool. That dog will see some use competitively since it's ability specifically weakens physical damage. That Arcanine you're using? Yeah, it may have a competitor.

I wonder...

Grass/Ground, Fire/Psychic, Water/Flying? Another odd triangle, one of which is kinda not included?

Chespin still gets the short end of the stick. Of course. I still want to see Grass/Dark as a surprise. But it's leaning towards Grass/Ground.

And Chespin's evolution... wtf... It looks... terrible. Hopefully it suffers the same fate as Emboar's family with a terrible mid stage but a frigging awesome final form. But I don't like where it's going. The other starters look fantastic imo, though. I like Fennekin's bipedal sleekness (knew it'd be both), and same goes for Froakie. But Chespin... What... My... wait... huh????

And they're all pure?

Please don't pull a Gen 5 GF. Please don't.

Chespin is suddenly unappealing. And it learns Mud Shot. Don't be another Grass/Ground please.

Yeah that is very odd. What is with gen 5 and all these ubers? Even Excadrill... Like what? Aside from megas, I hope they tone it down...

At this rate, it's probably intentional. And Hidden Power is a good example of why I dislike simulators - it's too specific and there's an incredibly high chance you won't get that in game. It's kinda inaccurate, so I agree with your notion.

Yes, I'm getting antsy again, but yes. I like Japanese stuff, and people not liking their own culture is a trend that is probably quite widespread. I remember listening to "Farewell to SClAiRNoangoang" or something, from the Red Orchestra company or whatever... Not that I know what it's about.

Yeah, just thinking of ways to buff dark, because it's perfectly balanced but it could use a little more IMO...

Well, I could show you some Canadian music which would shatter your ears and make you think I'm crazy, or I could show you a Russian artist which would petrify you, or I could locate dozens of US artists that are a mixed bag and annoy you. I chose those songs because they're classical and some other genre, and I thought you'd like them, but I guess not.

Yes, I like Japanese stuff - I prefer other cultures than my own, I think we went over that once.

Indeed, it is a touching song. Reminds me of Studio Ghibli which is why I like it, and it just sounds nice.

I'm well aware that they gave it to the legendaries but seriously I don't want psuedo legends to get it!
