  1. Thought you should know, the five Score Level move columns are unnecessary.

All three moves are available at any Score Level except Level 1, where only two moves are achievable ('B' and 'C' moves, at 50% rarity each).

The differences between the score levels is only the rarity of the moves, for example score level 5 will most of the time give you the 'A' move(usually the level-up move) and will hardly ever give the 'C' move(usually the rarest).

Thanks for the heads up. Also thanks Delta for the spelling correction. I'll make the corrections and post the corrected version shortly. Please let me know how we can further improve it. Also, if any of you could help me fill in the missing information, especially on the berry tabs, please let me know. I could use all the help I can get. Thanks all!

Edit: Corrected version uploaded: Pkm DW Extensive list v3

Please anyone help me finish it! Credit of course will be given.

  2. Hello. I'm back from a long time of college and working on an update particularly to the berry sections of this document. Please let me know what y'all think of this. Also, I tried updating via Google Docs but it would not let me. This is my first time with Google Docs so I may have done something wrong. Here is the link to my updated document. Credit goes to same people with the addition of Serebii making the berry list (even if it is outdated to the Gen 5 descriptions).

Extensive Pokemon Dream World Database V2 (made changes only to berry sections)

Again, please let me know what you all think.

  3. There are numerous guides on on pokegen here on the forums. If the auth see you asking a question like this, they simply don't respond because it is a waste of time to them. They deal with questions asked over and over and over again on a daily basis and it drives them crazy so they ignore them. Your question is unfortunately no exception. It may be a pain, but have you tried to even search the forums for guides on pokegen? I'm sure you'll find one if you put some effort into it...

Edit: Further more, you put this question in a completely wrong section. I advise putting this question at least in the pokegen section, though I doubt they'll answer this question as it has been asked countless times. I am not trying to be rude, you just have to look at it from their perspective. I can easily understand why they have no patience for obvious questions that have been answered and they deem a waste of time. Wouldn't you get tired of someone asking the same question countless times?

  4. You have to search for a random Pokémon and you will get an error message that will disconnect you.

Then you can choose to reconnect immediately, and if you do that, the next Pokémon in your queue is received.

Much faster than manually disconnecting and talking to the receptionist again.

Very interesting. I'll keep this in mind because I always found disconnecting and talking to the receptionist rather tedious in itself. Maybe it is because I'm impatient sometimes, but either way thanks for the heads up.

  5. Wow, thank you very much everyone for the compliments. That truly means a lot. I am glad to be able to help out with this. I will upload the link that Lorshy so kindly provided to the original post. Any further suggestions on how to improve this would be greatly appreciated. Also, for those who would be interested in filling in the blanks on parts of it, feel free to provide feedback so we can fill this in quicker. I may not get a good chance by myself since my only source of wireless net comes from my house, which is like 45 minutes away from my dorm. Thank you everyone for your support and have a great weekend!

Edit: lol Scratch that. I just realized wraith did that edit for me. Thanks!

  6. The trailer refers to the map/region as being frozen.

I think it would make sense if that was the way they stop your progress until certain parts of the story.

Thanks for clearing that up. You make a good point. It would definitely prevent you from entering the area until certain parts of the story. Like how Black and White did with the right side of the region. However, I think applying the inaccessible part as part of the story line makes much more sense than saying "Can't access this area due to construction, etc." like the did in Black and White. My guess is that you would have to catch White / Black Kyurem before accessing the area, but who knows? I cannot wait till they make an English release of the trailer. It is rather difficult trying to get information out of something that isn't your language lol.

  7. If you are trying to RNG in your game by finding the frame given by the seed, I recommend RNG Reporter. It is perfect for a job like this. Just google it, and you'll find guides and even youtube videos for this, even for emulators. On RNG Reporter, it is almost always correct on the location of the starter frame the game starts on with the respective seed. Whats more, it has the pitch level of the Chatot's custom cry for each frame, making it easier to locate the frame you are on. Though for this, it takes a well trained ear. I hit my seed and frame almost every time because of this.

  8. Right. Obviously I meant the region that appears to be covered in ice. NOT the ENTIRE REGION. Lets keep in mind that that was the starter area in the forest where the warmer climates were shown, possibly even the other areas not covered in ice. Also, I'm sure there is more to come. So how about you sit back and wait instead of criticizing? This is just a theory thread, nothing more, nothing less. No need to be so serious about this. Besides, it really doesn't matter who is right. I'm only guessing about the ice after looking at the new map. You have your beliefs and theories, I have mine.

  9. This is more or less a check list or key to use for Dream World. Like I said, it is nothing special. I thought some might want to have the entire Pokemon and berry list for each region as well as the available moves given to them throughout the dream world. Also for convenience, I labeled which berry number you enter in the Dream World Hack Tool to get the right berry you want and I also showed where to get them. More or less though, it is a check list or tool you can use to see what you want from the dream world. It shows all that is available. If there are any ideas as to what would make this more useful, feel free to post them here. So yes wraith, you are correct.

As for Pokemon Online, another huge flaw is DW Salamence. It is able to learn Outrage in Dream World with its ability, yet it will not allow you to have a MoxieMence with Outrage, even though it is possible to have one if you get one straight from the dream world. Thanks for the compliment wraith. I worked hard on keeping it as organized as possible. Also Lorshy, it's ok. My brain wasn't working this morning either lol.

  10. Hello everyone. I'm sure you all may not know me well, but I have been looking for a way to contribute to the site in some way. I first compiled this list on paper, but thought it would be easier to adjust and have on my laptop. Before I knew it, I started elaborating on the list into what it is now, mainly because of my habit of being so organized. Then I thought, "What if this little list can help the community some how?" This leads to this thread. I'd like to donate my Microsoft Excel Document I created based entirely on the Dream World and even Dream World Hack Tool. It is in 2000-2003 compatibility mode for those of you who have a very early version of Microsoft. Please keep in mind that it was made in Microsoft Office 2007 / 2010, so some features may not be available to earlier versions. However, I highly doubt this, seeing as how I only used borders, colors, etc. Nothing extreme such as formulas.

Now to further help those who could make use of this document, I'd like you all to contribute ideas and information that can help me complete this guide as well as improving it. It currently consists of a list of Dream World Pokemon, where to find them, their abilities, moves given, a berry checklist, where to find the berries in the Dream World as well as which ones are the infamous EV berries. I also included the number for the respective berry that you would enter into the Dream World Hack Tool for convenience instead of constantly having to refer to the page on Serebii. That is about all I can think of at the top of my head that this document contains. Please look at this document if only for just a moment, even if you don't think you need it. I would like some ideas and information to make this something you would be interested in. This document could also be useful for those working on making legal Pokemon in the Dream World. I am currently working on adding a Gender and legal section to the document (recommended by ReignOfComputer) since there are Pokemon available in certain genders in the Dream World. Thank you all for taking the time for reading this thread and I wish you all a good day and sweet dreams (pun intended).

    Credit goes to:

---Community of Smogon and Serebii for providing all this information

---ReignOfComputer for inspiring me to make this thread and for the extensive guide on the Dream World Hack Tool. Please check out his youtube channel, I know it will help you as it did me. Click, like, and subscribe!

---Community of Project Pokemon for making me feel at home here. I feel I need to contribute for the help and kindness that they have shown me as well as making me feel welcome and at home.

---All others who I have forgotten to mention, sorry!

Without further ado, here is the document I worked on:

    Pokemon Dream World Checklist

    Google Docs Version

    September 27, 2012 UPDATE:

    Test: Sprites in Berry List

I added the berries' sprites. I plan on doing the same to the pokemon, but first I need an opinion on how it looks and whether or not I should keep them.

  11. lol I just remembered this info from playing my white version. I have always been fascinated in Pokemon Lore and History discovered by playing the games. This is a huge hobby of mine to piece together these mysteries. I have no doubt in my mind that all this pokemon lore and history in the games connects somehow. It is only a matter of time before Game Freak comes out with a way of connecting them all together.

For example, some may be wondering how White / Black connects to the other games. Did you all know that in one of the cities that has an area only available to access in the winter, there is a piece that gives the player a clue when this game takes place? In the inaccessible area, there is a lone house behind a windmill. In there, there is this family: a boy, a woman, and a man. If you talk to the man, he talks in a familiar and unusual way ("a go-go") and mentions being part of a "gang" but slowed down to have a happy life with a family. This is none other than the Team Rocket recruit who always talked weird in HG and SS (as well as G, S, and C). We may not have been given information as to where abouts in the world this region is, but it gives us a rough time frame on when it takes place.

  12. It is true. Like I said, just because it is in the anime doesn't necessarily mean it is true. For example, if you notice this trailer, it contradicts everything that the Musketeer Trio and Keldeo stand for. They defend humans? Last I checked, they defended Pokemon from destruction BY the humans. After the horrific fire and trouble the humans caused, they locked themselves away, completely isolating themselves from humans, always bearing that hatred toward them. For centuries they avoided humans, forever thinking that humans are enemies of Pokemon and have not changed their evil ways toward them. However, your character proves to be different with Cobalion, who wishes to test you and "join" (I love how the old man in the game said "he wanted to join you" considering he is harder to catch then Zekrom and Reshiram without a Master Ball) your party. Terrakion and Verizion soon take note of your character's abilities and love towards Pokemon as a sign that the world actually has changed since their last encouter with humans. They then open the paths toward them, awaiting to test your resolve. I personally love these Pokemon and how that even though they are mere pseudo legends, they play a huge role in Unova's history. Keldeo will always be my favorite out of all of them.

I'd also like to see how the three genies play a role in the new games too. Like the Musketeer Trio, the Genies play a major role in Unova's history as well as myths. Remember that Reshiram and Zekrom were once one single Pokemon and created the Unova region. Once they were forced to battle each other, they destroyed Unova. This is showing how great their power is. These Pokemon may perhaps be linked somehow, but whether or not this is true, I do not know. Also, Kyurem is known to crash down to Earth from a meteor, devouring Pokemon and Humans during the night. What does this have to say for Kyurem's mystery? Will it play a role behind his appearance in Black 2 / White 2? Will these other pokemon and their legends and history play a role in this too? So many questions left unanswered.

  13. I'm sure everyone will be eager to hear the news. Also, I want to thank you for this very informative thread. I really like how you put the spoilers to tie in with different responses to the questions. It was rather creative and effective. I'm sure a lot would have been confused or not know what part to read if it wasn't arranged in this manner. Be sure to tell me how the SMS4 is when you receive it in mail. I look forward to hearing about it.

  14. I cannot wait for the next Nintendo Direct coming out in America. I'm sure we will be hearing a plethora of information for this coming year as well as the American release for Black 2 and White 2. Though, I'm still convinced that Nintendo will save the best for E3 2012. Sadly we can never go by rumors we hear or see online because when confronted about these, Nintendo always leaves us hanging with the usual comment, "Nintendo does not comment on rumors." Wow the suspense is killing me for these new Pokemon games. I am eager to see how Dream World will be affected. Who knows? We may even have an addition to Gen 5 Pokemon in Dream World. One can dream right? On a side note, I may not be a musician, but I am left handed. Does that count for something?

  15. So after spending countless hours of searching for an answer punctuated by interruptions from my offline life, I'm hoping I can get an answer here. I've browsed Google searches which usually lead me here, Serebii, Smogon or PokeStation, as well as the features in Smogon's RNG Reporter and Codr's PokeGen. My goal is to generate a few event legendaries for a theoretical team. I have read that unlike the rest of Gen. V, Wondercard Pokemon have a PID/IV relationship like last generation.

My question is how would I go about making these legendaries legal in PokeGen? What Method should I use, if any?

My guess is that you could look at the pokemon in the event collection, open up one of them in pokegen (as a pkm file) and look at them. As for the PID / IV relationship for events, I'm not really sure if thats the case. I successfully RNG'd the movie event Reshiram for Timid nature, nearly flawless with Hidden Power Ice (70). Here is the trick for that: the Nature is produced last. so if you do hit your correct frame, it may not be the right one, but rather one of them around the target frame. it takes a bit of trial and error, but it is possible.

On a side note, thank you so much for this guide. This guide has made me a PokeGen-erator expert.
