Ok, I'm posting in the Requests forum because this will probably end in me breaking down and requesting a pokemon from you guys:

I want a Jirachi. But I wanted to be a big boy and do it myself. So I bought an Action Replay DS. Except I didn't know they don't work with my DSi. Oh well, option one down the drain. Then I bought an AceKard2i, which works great. The problem is that I didn't realize that my only option was to load a ROM and play off of the card (my assumption was that somehow with magic and the force of my will that I would be able to extract the .sav from my retail cart, stupid). I have finished the game on my retail cart and I have lots of pokemon in there I'd like to keep using.
My question is: Can an emulator on my computer be used to trade pokemon back and forth from my DSi to my computer, where I already have a .sav file with a Jirachi waiting for me? I'd like the Jirachi in the .sav file on my retail cart, and I'm running out of ways to do it.
If this fails I think I might have to break down and come groveling to you guys for a trade.
tl;dr - Computer/Emulator to DSi trades possible?
