  1. Pokécheck VS. Player: http://vsplayer.pokecheck.org As some may know, the state of knowledge of the Battle Video system makes it possible to have a web based parser for battle videos. Battle videos only contain bpkm data and the players' choice of moves. The parser needs to integrally and faithfully emulate the Pokémon battle system to produce logs, with special attention required to stick the current BRNG value. Any frame off makes all subsequent result invalid. Because in its current state, the VS. Player only implements a fragment of the full battle system, this thread exists to report the most important missing features and bugs. Because each bug requires debugging of the affected videos, reports should follow the following rules: You are only allowed to report one bug or feature request at a time. Until it is actually fixed or implemented, any subsequent request you make will be ignored. You should report major issues on frequently used features before anything else. Reports are handled on a priority basis. You MUST include the battle video ID where the problem occurs, and the first turn for which the VS. Player is giving wrong results. Note that you must be a registered Pokécheck user to access the VS. Player. This is because this program has to make requests to the Nintendo servers. This is highly dangerous since it exposes the Pokécheck website to blacklisting by Nintendo. As such, strict global and per-user limits are set to limit the number of queries. Each requested video is cached on the server and only requested once. Q&A: Q: Is it possible to emulate the battle video server like the GTS? A: Yes. The protocol is encrypted but it doesn't check the signature of the server certificate, except for the Pokémon validation service (pkvldt) which is required to get a signature on any video uploaded to the official battle server Q: Is it possible to create battle videos from scratch? A: Yes, it has been possible for some months, see for instance Q: Is it possible to convert a battle log from a simulator like PO/PS to a battle video that I could send on Youtube or on the Nintendo video server? A: Yes, but it requires the simulator to faithfully emulate the battle system. Only the VS. Player can do that at the moment, even though some steps have been taken to make it possible (see for instance www.smogon.com/bw/articles/bw_complete_damage_formula)
  2. Both are flagged as illegal because of bad encounter
  3. Yes, slot mapping error for HGSS Old Rod, also fixed in next Reporter.
  4. Surprised no one posted it yet but Darkrai event has been up for a little while Also, European language versions of the B2W2 repel wondercard are up (MysteryGift_Repel_0_F.bin, MysteryGift_Repel_0_G.bin, MysteryGift_Repel_0_I.bin, MysteryGift_Repel_0_S.bin) but they are all the exact same file.
  5. When Pokécheck updated for these new wifi events, it seems it also found a new Wondercard for English games. Upon closer inspection, it turns out that this wondercard is actually for B2 and W2 and is most likely a test wondercard used by the localization team to test the wondercard distribution system. It doesn't appear on B/W because of the advertized game ID for this wondercard, allowing to document the new IDs: 0x1000: White, 0x2000: Black, 0x3000: B/W, 0x4000: White 2, 0x8000: Black 2, 0xC000: B2/W2, 0xF000: B/W/B2/W2 For those interested, the first ever English B2W2 wondercard: a repel http://tmp.pokecheck.org/events/MysteryGift_Repel_0_en.bin
  6. If you have a flashcart or save extractor they would no doubt be the preferred option for mass transfering, but for retail or single DS transfers there simply isn't any better option. It all goes down to depositing your 167 Pokémon on the gen 4 GTS (a bit tedious but can be done fast enough) then getting the transfered 167 from the Pokécheck download queue on your B/W game (takes much longer but you can use the quick reconnect trick in gen 5).
  7. Thank you. It appears the wondercards for these events on the PP event gallery are incorrect, but the one you uploaded seem fine.
  8. Okay There seems to be a problem with the wondercard I have for the spanish crown Raikou and Entei. If you have a save file with them please upload either it or the pgt file for those 2 events. Support for the crown events has been added to Pokécheck back in February.
  9. Stricto sensu it is legal but any legality expert will immediately notice it is very likely hacked.
  10. Nevermind, the PCD is actually correct and I just extracted the PGT from it http://tmp.pokecheck.org/events/VGC%202010%20Eevee%20FRA.pgt
  11. This should be taken into account for the RS roamers too, except for the 10 ANIV event which wasn't affected. The problem was fixed.
  12. PCNY events have an unknown generation method. There's a even a warning about it "This seems to be a PCNY event, PID method is unknown." As for level checking, I'll enable it back since there is encounter checking for gen 4 now.
  13. I'm changing it at the moment which is why you'll see weird results for a while
  14. Froslass is blocked by the Pokémon validation service (used for GTS, battle video, random matchup) because it has ASS in its name. As for the encounter type for rock smash, it is indeed missing in Pokégen. To my knowledge it is only used for rock smash in HGSS but it does exist legitimately, for instance: http://www.pokecheck.org/?pk=318958 The corresponding value for the encounter byte at 0x85 is 1. This value is also used for NPC owned Pokémon outside cities/buildings (and Red in HGSS which uses 6).
  15. I cannot give a definitive answer regarding the legality of extremespeed Pikachu until the wondercard for the event is contributed but I would be surprised if this one turned out legal because all previous generation 5 events have had their secret ID set to 0. Photographic evidence doesn't really help but posting the wondercard in the event contribution forum would settle the issue.
  16. <p><p><p><p><p><p>Sure, why not.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

  17. Good call on Wormadam. The base stats were also wrong for sandy and trash forms.
  18. Trading or using the transfer machine or pokeshifter will reset happiness to 70.
  19. Yes except you should post it in the event contribution section. Edit: loaded it on the Pokécheck database
