  1. I spent over 30 minutes trying to figure this out yesterday, lol. So what worked for me was changing from hirigana back to katakana. You do this by going to the options and go down to the english option (yes or no). Select no and confirm these changes. Now try entering the passwords and they should work fine. The game will now recognize the Japanese ones so if your rom happens to have a Japanese password, then, it should work...I hope.

    You wouldn't happen to have a save at that point would you? And if you can't part with it while using our Translation use ZEKROM or RESHIRAM and let me know if it worked for you

  2. When teaching TMs to pokemon, either of these messages appear

    "Should a move be deleted and

    replaced wi"

    "Should a move be deleted and

    replaced"

    I think it should be

    "Should a move be deleted and

    replaced with [move name]?"

    Also, after I have taught a Pokemon Draco Meteor, after the message that says it has learnt the move appears, after I press the A button an empty text box appears. This is probably the case with all move tutors.

    This is on v2 right? I made a huge update last night and I seemed to have fixed bugs we didn't know about lol I'm still at work ATM but should be home in an hour or two so I'll look into this thanks!

    I'm guessing there was a character limit. Just change it to "Do you know what a Pokedex is?"

    It's supposed to be "What should I do? Right?? And then the right image speaks for itself, so ya know.

    Yeah not everything is translated soneek is on that since it comes from the story git i believe. anyways thanks for pointing those out should have them fixed soon

  4. I'm sad to inform that when patched with this translation patch, the ROM no longer loads with the YSMenu mod RetroGameFan Multi Cart Update 6.80 found here. It gives me the load error = -4. Is there any fix for this? This method worked with all patches prior to this translation. I don't know what could be up.

    The game id changes with the patch that's why. Wait a bit I'll see if i remember how i handled these last time around.

  5. yeah as I said I stopped cause I got side tracked, checked my logs for the size (12x15).

    As for the method I used CrystalTile2, under tools it has an option called NTFR editor though sadly I do not recall what narc it was contained in

  6. For whatever reason you had corrupted musical data and c-gear data...and messed up Box Names, anyways let this be a reminder to always have a backup before working on something :)

    Here you go I fixed your save to remove corrupted things (and completed your pokedex cause I was lazy to go through it one by one) it should be playable again let me know if it isn't

  7. You guys are still stumped on this? You seem to have misunderstood me, I did say that the text was encrypted/encoded but that doesn't mean you have to decrypt/decode it in order to edit it. You just don't know what each trainer is that easily but you can still edit them with no problem (like the one guy suggested use the original translation we made for the JP as a map of sorts)

  8. This is a bit embarassing, but I still haven't managed to find where all the names are located. I swear I've scoured a002 and a003 from top to bottom and back. Twice. :(

    should be a002 - Section 190, it's compressed but you should be able to just edit them to whatever you want (and sorry I got no clue how to decompress it)

  10. I was found for 20 script. pokemon name, item name, and another code, but if wrong insert them, game will freeze.

    \xf000ā\x0001\x0000 is for you pokemon name too (in triple battle - rotate is become your name)

    Some do look alike but aren't the same. Not to mention they are case-sensitive too. I should've documented this stuff better but I got caught up with RL stuff back then so never did anyways hope this helps.

    \xf000Ā\x0001\x0000 - Trainer Name

    \xf000Ă\x0001\x0000 - Pokemon (Your Pokemon)

    \xf000ā\x0001\x0000 - Wild/Foe's Pokemon (Notice the difference?)

    As for Triple battles:
