Is it worth me putting forth the effort to take my editor's pen to the current in-game dialog? I don't know if it's what the core translating team wants at the moment, but if it is, I'll have no problem continuing doing what I'm doing from Route 2 onward tomorrow. Just let me know!

First of all, how rude is it to whine that the patch isn't (or so you think) in your preferred format? Tons of people have put tremendous effort into translating and patching Black & White to English. This game has barely been released a month in Japan and we've already got a decently-playable English patch. Secondly, Patch.exe is Rudolph's Child Play Patch, which removes the Anti-Piracy from the ROM. The actual v4 patch is a .patch file that you do use with xDelta.

Let me preface this by saying that I follow this project and support it fully and will do whatever I can to further it. I've started a new game on v4 and I know that most of these items are mostly meaningless, but for whole completion's sake, I listed them. I'll update this as I get further into the game, unless of course this is not something that is desired by the folks in charge of the translation project. I'm sure that there is, but I don't exactly know where to find the scripts. And I am sorry if it was stated somewhere that some of the items I've listed are not being bothered with or something to that effect. Being as how there are 3 seperate threads with thousands of posts in the first 2, I can honestly say that I know I've not read everything. Thank you all for doing this!
