Gen 6 wondercards can be dragged as .pkm files to gen 7 games without any problems.

There is no reason for you to edit your own Manaphys. I can trade you this Friday a timid one that I RNG abused from the Ranger egg. I have a shiny one that I got from a trade a long time ago too.

No. But apparently, European carts were compatible with North American events.

Hatched mons from 3rd to 5th gen only have their natures and abilities tied to the PID (in 5th gen IVs are never tied to PID anyways). On Emerald, the PID was created the step you made the egg available and the IVs were generated when you pressed A after the old man's last message.

Frame number 176,562,489 in a dried battery Emerald has a Timid flawless spread (for method 1). You can get the PID with RNG Reporter.

Your only 100% safe option until PkHex gets an update and all this banwave issue gets cleared would be to get your perfect legendaries through RNG abusing in any of the 4th to 5th generation games (or even in 3rd gen but have in mind that flawless spreads are only possible through breeding or by getting to ridiculously high frames). Those can be sent to Sun/Moon through Pokébank but since that would take you hours and hours of work I highly recommend you to wait.

Are Pokébank legality checks any different than before after the update? Gen 5 to 6 checks were pretty light since it let theoretically impossible stuff like shiny flawless WISHMKR Jirachis and non-Japanese Old Sea Map Mews through.

I'm sure that the problems are caused by PkHex, that hasn't been yet updated to reproduce Pokébank transfers to Gen 7 perfectly. I might be wrong though.

From what I've read RNG abusing is extremly hard in Colosseum unless you use an emulator.

Well, at least catching Darkrai and Shaymin is possible I think. Are the legendaries that can only be obtained after getting the national dex possible? I guess writing the item into the save would be useless but maybe trying to modify the respective flags can work (I have no idea if that's possible though).

For some reason, in PkHex all 3rd gen eggs appear to have a japanese name before being hatched. If your game is in English the Pokémon hatched will have English as a language in the pkm file which means it has nothing to do with the parents. Trigger's PC includes a feature that allows to check if any eggs are going to be shiny if hatched in that particular save. Link:

I highly recommend you to edit existing Pokémon that were legitimately caught in-game rather than creating them from scratch since its a method that usually gives bad results. Remember to keep a backup of the original Pokémon that you edited. If you don't have too much Pokémon in your saves (to possibly edit) you can always use saves and pkm files that other people have provided like ReignOfComputer. I would also stay away from editing Pokémon that are from gen 5 or below since those can be RNG'd but that's up to you. Anyways, if you have any more questions I'll try to answer them.

It was a bit hard for me to get into Pokémon games since my parents were against of portable video games at the time (I already had a PS2) but I really wanted to play the games given that my friends at school talked a lot about them and I really liked the anime, cards, figures, etc. Luckily my mom bought a DS Lite for my dad as a Christmas present (December 2006) and after a tough battle I got my mother to buy me Emerald (Summer 2007) and that is where all started (at the age of 10).

One story comes to my mind too. Does anyone remember here when videos talking about strange procedures with Pokémart questionnaires to get a shiny were a thing? As a noob that I was at the time I decided to try it and you know what, the first encounter after all that was a shiny Marill. I took me some time to realize that the procedure was fake and the fact that the shiny Marill appeared was completely random. I still can't believe it happened.

I played Leaf Green last year just to RNG for Method 1 shinies. I might have a couple of saves before certain points of the game which can become useful. I can search if you're interested (just realized this is from January).

It works for the Masuda method.

If you're only modfidying the Pokémon you encounter on a certain route, the PID should be valid since they are generated like any other wild Pokémon.
