  1. It depends on the card. It must have a download play option. I just ordered a new AceKard 2i, which has the option, so I'll report back when I get it. Also, does anyone know how to fix the Union Room bug? I tried using Rudolphs patcher with a clean rom, but it still does it. I'm using an Edge card (CycloDS Clone) by the way :3

  3. I'm really not sure actually. No$GBA supposedly has Wi-Fi support, but I remember reading an article saying all DS emulators had been cut off from Ninty's servers. Mind trying it for us?
  4. Lol I know it seems nooby to just get my C-Gear, but I haven't really been playing properly Im just using Walk Through Walls codes and stuff to get me where I want to go. I'm not gonna play legit until a decent chunk of the story has been translated. I can't get into the game if I don't know whats happening
  5. Lol, it's nothing from github! I just got my C-Gear, and it told me to go to this site.
  6. Hey can someone please go to this site, and tell me the basic of what it says? http://www.pokemon-gl.com I need to understand what it says for Global Link. Wait, nevermind, it says the Global Link website will be down until the 4th. >.> Uh, and one last thing, I just went to the Union Room, and the chick told me something about Skin Heads lol! Is that right?
  7. If you have Black, and want to disable the Anti-Piracy (Good thing), Get the Black no EXP patch If you have White, and want to disable the Anti-Piracy (Good thing), Get the White no EXP patch Using these shouldn't mess up your game, but make a back up of the ROM on your computer, just in case
  8. No I mean like how are these text files added into the rom? I have a copy of Final Fantasy 4 for the DS that I'm looking to make an English patch for. Do you know any tutorials for this sort of thing?
  9. Hey NSSVelocity, what do you use to edit game files?
  10. Oh well thanks for your help! I've opened up a few files with a hex editor, but I don't really get it. as far as I can tell, it's all random characters lol! I couldn't even find any of the text files let alone images.
  11. Also, a tip to anyone who doesn't have much space on their MicroSD card, you can trim the ROM using NDSTool to reduce the game to 202mb. Only the first 202mb actually contains game data. The remaining amount is filled 0x00 and 0xFF to bring the game up to the 256mb total I've been using it as an experiment for the last few days, and havent yet had a freeze.
  12. Thanks for that! To actually modify the files, what do I need? I presume I would need a HEX editor wouldn't I? I used NDSTool to unpack the game, but the files were either .sdat, .dat or had no extension. I used Pokemon Black as an example, so where could I find the games images?
  13. Just out of curiousity, how are the patches made? Like is there a program that is used to compile and de-compile ds games? Just found NDSTool. That's what I want right?
  14. Hahaha lmao! Yeah, I'm pretty sure someone suggested it a few pages back. Awesome idea for multi-lingual people.
  15. Lol how can you not notice if something is translated 0.o?
  16. Chill d00d! They're nearly done on the PokeDex entries! As for the story, there is always walkthroughs to use. Off topic here, I just watched the very first episode of Pokemon again, and noticed someone used a green Pokeball. It looked like a regular Pokeball, only green. Anyone know what happened to these in the games?
  17. Make sure you are using the one for R4. This is it here.

  20. I've used about 30 Rare Candies (AR ), and learnt about 6 moves, none of them have caused the game to hang, so I don't know what's up with that? Are you using v2?
  21. That's what I was saying before! In the top left of the screen, where it has the PokeDoller Symbol, it doesn't show how much money you have!
  22. I just taught that to a Pokemon just then, and I see no problem with it.
