i dragged the rom to the patch and it created the bak file, said the patch was complete, etc but when i loaded up the rom, it was still in japanese.

sweet. got the patch to work but is it normal for the names of my pokemon (which i did not nickname) to not be translated?

does DesMuME have save files? may be a stupid question, but i can only find "DCT", "DS1", and "DSV" files.
