Ice Prince

My first ever shiny was on Pearl in which i has the swarm Beldum and i just went in the grass and the third one was a shiny Beldum i was shaking.

OK so i used the HeartGold & SoulSilver pokesav and i made a shiny cydaquil with legit stats and all iv's 31. I also want the "Alert to Sounds" characteristic, but whenever i regenerate the PID, I always get "Often dozes off", "Capable of taking Hits", and "Mischievous" characteristic. I was just hoping if there was any way you could make a shiny cyndaquil, modest nature, class 1 , male with the "Alert to Sounds" characteristic.
