  4. The best leads in the game for TR are Bronzong and Banette. Anything else really isn't that great. Make sure all your speed IVs are set as low as possible, and if you don't use Bronzong lead, try to fit it in for Snorlax, who's curse takes too long to set up. HP Ice over Dragonpulse on Lucario for Gliscor, and you can probably fit Nasty Plot Slowking in. Instead of Dugtrio, try the UU guy Technitop, who's priority takes out most of your problems after TR stops. Go with Dusknoir over Clops for sure. I'lll finish later, I have to go

  8. Guys, lets try to keep this on topic. Back to OP? You may want to try something else, Say Omastar, instead of Lanturn. Generally, you want a more offensive strategy with RD teams, because you don't get unlimited rain. Try a Specs set with Ludi and a LO set with Omastar. Bronzong can also make a good back up rain setter. If you use him, switch out Milotic.

  11. Level ~58 Tyranitar and same level Gengar.
  12. Yeah, I thought I'd post this for anyone who wants to play it/played it/whatever. Discuss
  13. I was writing a HUGE response to this, but I accidentally hit the back button on my mouse:( Because of this, I'm just going to condense that message. I have a lot of tough points that need to be made, and I refuse to sugarcoat it. Read it and rant at me about how I'm wrong, I don't really care, I'm just helping you out. If you feel the need to try to defend yourself against someone helping you, then you should be worried about other stuff rather than whether or not this team will succeed. 1.Concept: Weather is a gimmick style of play in generation 4. No point in arguing against it, that's the way it is. Running two weathers is like shooting yourself in the foot. There are several times when you will be wasting turns trying to get the right weather up, and you could easily accidentally help the opponent or hurt yourself. You can't truly abuse both weathers well together, and I think that the cons FAR outweigh the pros. Also, I have a feeling that you thought up this concept, then tried to find stuff that fit it without thinking too much of strategy. I don't think this concept can truly take off, and I especially don't think that this team is using this concept to its full potential (whatever that is). 2. Little effort put in: Despite the fact that you know this team is outdated, you posted this RMT with stuff about Salamence and Latias. I'm fine with you asking about how you can replace Latias, but you are writing like they are both still usable (thankfully they are gone). Also, you obviously haven't looked into or even thought about even month old shifts, let alone present day activity in the metagame. You are hit hard by Fire/Water/Grass core and stuff that try to beat it. Even older stuff like Mixmence, DD mence, Breloom, Scarftar, and Latias tear this team apart. Really, it feels like you were just bored, saw the forum, and decided to post this team. 3. The other stuff: Look at the top 15 OU of July. Of the top 15, you have problems with ALL of them. Gengar or Starmie will stop a LOT of these problems. As it is obvious you haven't tested this concept or this team out anywhere near halfway enough, or at all recently, I'm not going to bother saying much more until you've fixed the thing up, or at least explained it a bit more. If you want me to try it out or try battling it, I'd be happy to oblige, just tell me when you want to meet on Wifi or Shoddy.
  14. If you are trying to hack it up illegally and stuff, just give it all 999 stats, Sheer Cold, and No guard. Slap on Extremespeed and Mach Punch, and don't forget to give it Lefties or Focus Sash. Then, don't put it in the PC, and you're fine. However, if you're using illegal hacks like this in Wifi, you'll get blacklisted. It's no fun playing something like that. Many people here will probably help screw you over, too, if you do something like this. You can use Pokesav or something similar to implement the changes.
  15. To everyone, Umbreon is whatever it is at the time you are reading this because of USAGE. Usage determines most tiering. Then, misfits are dropped into BL and Ubers. Obviously, people will try to use the best stuff in a competitive metagame(That is the whole point), so usage can dictate how stuff is playing out in the metagame better than having people theorymon it out, unless you're trying to get something banned (Salamence, Latias, etc., where a council was best to sit down and talk about it). Yanmega seems fine in BL, he's by far too broken in UU, but he's not used enough for OU. Umbreon is fine wherever it is. Really, there is no real need for change for either of these guys.
  16. Not only did I already list that, Ice/Dragon could be hard to take down. For all you know, it could have the HP of Blissey, the defenses of Deo-D, the speed of Deo-S, and a movepool bigger than Arceus and Mew combined. Put all that with, say, Shed Skin, and that'll be tough to beat. Now, with a normal plegend setup, it would not necessarily be easy to take down. Sure it gets redundant coverage with Ice/Dragon STAB, but it's not like we get much positive use out of Salamence's flying type, and it's still banned. Same thing with Quaza. I think the ability to run a mixed set with Ice Shard, Dragon STAB, EQ, and filler or boosting move could be pretty dangerous. Dragon lacks a good priority move, and STAB Ice Shard could also help bring other dragons back to OU. As a version mascot, we can be sure it will be broken. This means that it will have bloated stats and a great movepool, as well as custom moves and/or ability. GF hasn't let us use a version legend since Suicune, why would they now? To all the Light type people: No, it won't happen. If it were to happen, they probably would have made Reshi light type. Anyway, they've been happy with our current types since gen II, so we won't be seeing many changes to THAT soon. Also, though we do have precedence with time capsule stuff in Gen I/II trading, I don't think they will screw us around with changing the types.
  17. My problem trying to ignore them is that I don't know many users here, especially the newer ones. Some I just filter out and occasionally block, but I often don't have a warning sign. Really, I think some sort of incentive for users to post high quality stuff is needed. As long as it works, it's cool.
  18. PP Forum has a big problem with useless posts and stuff that just take up space. One way to fix this is to add some sort of 'Reputation' system, where after a post or thread starter, you can 1up the poster. At certain levels of reputation points, one could earn badges or something similar. One could also subtract rep for really bad posts, and that kind of thing. You would be limited to one + or - per post, or something similar, and would not be able to change your own reputation. This would limit the ability of people to game the system. Also, it would allow people to judge users who they haven't interacted before. For example, if user A wanted to know, say, how to get a Hydro Pump Salamence, then he could post that question. Users B and C respond in that thread. User B tells A that you must go to a waterfall and fight 1000 Seakings in a row, then use 30 rare candies. User C says that you need to breed with a Seadra or Kingdra and get the egg move. User A follows User B's advice, and wastes days on this method. If the reputation point system, or something similar, was in play, then User A notices that User B has -9001 reputation, while User C has 100 reputation. User A follows User C's advice. Though we have the badge system, it is not effective as very few users have very many badges, and badges cannot be handed out as easily as a +1. I have seen this work with great effect in other forums such as TheHiveWorkshop, but I do not know how you could implement this or something similar into the forum design.
  19. First of all, this is an atrocious rain dance team. You almost never use Rain Dance to benefit yourself. You also need to post more than just pictures and sets- Give us an idea of the roles and how you play the team in matches. If you haven't tested it out extensively, don't post it.
  20. You can easily redo the event without using an AR code by using the TRU and thenthe HoO or movie. In fact, I've even heard of getting all 3 with 3 different encounter types. What I want to know is whether you can still redo the event if the first Arceus used was a HOo. RASN, either read my posts and respond correctly, or don't bother replying to me.
  21. You can activate it with a HoO Arceus. I already did. If you had read my question, you would understand that.
  22. Incidentally, the suggestions I made to this team led me to make a new team based on some ideas I was throwing around. I can send it to you if you like, as it was partly your fault it exists. Really, though, your best bet is a nice bulky set. I'd recommend two choices: The bulky DD set: 252 HP 252 atk 4 spdef, @ Lum/Lefties/LO Roost, DD, Outrage/Dragon Claw, EQ or the Cleric Dancer set. However, you can just slap Heal Bell on Celebi and run the DD.
  23. Sorry if this is too long for short questions, but I didn't think it deserved a thread of its own. I really am unable to find the answer to this. If someone can check by using a backed up save, then that would be very nice. (I don't have a flashcart) So, here's the question: For the Arceus event with the level 1 Dialga/Palkia/Giratina, can you still repeat the event for multiple legends if the first Arceus used to activate the event was a Hall of Origin Arceus (From Platinum, I think). Everywhere I looked, it said that you can repeat the event by using TRU, and then HoO. However, nothing I found told me anything about doing it the other way. I accidentally saved inside the chamber right before the event and activated it for the first time with a HoO Arceus, and I am trying to RNG manipulate for a Naive 30/30/31/30/27/30 w/ Hidden Power Fire Giratina for the mixed set, but I forgot that HG/SS uses a different method than DPPt, and I haven't done HGSS before. I'd like to get some practice and make sure that I'm able to RNG for this great set, but I'd like to make sure that I can first. It is fairly urgent, so the faster someone can find out, the better. I do NOT want to hack or pokesav anything in, so please don't bother recommending it.
  24. Palkia used to be my favorite, what with it's ability to come in on Kyogre's water spout, but after the release of HGSS, I like Gira the most. The awesomeness of the mixed set with shadow sneak and HP fire just beats Palkia hollow. Plus, Dialga's head and Palkia's entire body are phallic
