Yup I did. I updated the driver and it said "Action Replay NDS Link" or something alike under my USB. And it's also not a USB hub, it's a direct USB port as well.

So I bought my action replay {For DS} back when pokemon pearl came out, and I remember always having the "Waiting for DS" problem where the code manager just refuse to recognize that my AR is plugged in. I some how got it to work but that was also with my old computer. I haven't used an AR for a long time simply because after pearl, I always used my R4. Now Soul Silver came back and I bought the rom. As usual I tried the process, and once again it does NOT detect my AR in code manager. I followed every guide I can find on google, made sure my AR screen is at the "Updating" screen {And it's stuck there; Nothing works}. I installed/uninstalled everything a few times. I went to codejunkies website and updated everything, tried everything they suggested, with no luck. Then I realized something and I don't know if this affects it. My AR has v1.23 but my code manager is v1.52. I am running outta ideas It just refuse to detect...

Okay so whenever I open a save file of Soul Silver US on it, the file is all weird. None of the correct info would show {Wrong play time, etc} x_x I have one pokemon {Just started the game to test} and on the party pokemon screen, the first slot is empty, I click in it, the name's blank but it says lv 100 or something. I am using an R4i. I am just wondering if it's because it's my save file or the pokesav? I've used pokesav since pearl, so I generally know where everything else. I am also sure I downloaded the one that is compatible with the US code out put version. Also another question, just to confirm, it's impossible to extract the save file from an actual game cartage right? Because I legitly bought soul silver, but my action replay isn't cooperating with me..so there's no way I can use my action replay anymore..

Yup! I pre-ordered soul silver. One more day till pick up! I've been waiting for this for a long time haha. This brings back childhood memories
