quick question. First time post and have been a long time fan. I may be asking a noob question but here goes.
Previous version of PkHex detecs pokemon from sword save as legal and the new update. Detects some of those same pokemon from same save as flagged and illegal with error: Invalid Stat nature is not within the expected range.
Does this mean that all those pokemons are now listed as illegal and will need to be edited or would are there plans to address this in future updates. Here is a snapshot of the new version. the 20.06.22
If the Nature is a not a neutral nature the only neutral nature it can have as a Stat Nature is Serious. There's no Hardy Mint.
Basically, if the Pokemon has (Nature = StatNature = Neutral), that's fine. But if it's (Nature != Neutral, StatNature = Neutral - Serious), then it's illegal.

PKHeX is a save editor for core-series Pokémon games. With it, users can manipulate various save files including: .sav, .dsv, .dat, .gci, .raw, and .bin types. PKHeX can also read and write: .pk files, which are individual Pokémon files, and .pgt, .pcd, .pgf, .wc, which are Mystery Gift files.
Version 20.06.22 of PKHeX has been released, bringing further support for The Isle of Armor DLC.

With the update of Pokemon SWSH v1.2, save file sizes have increased. The new save file size is 1575705 bytes, but we have seen some save files which are 1575632 bytes.
The first release (literally few minutes in) of the latest update of PKHeX didn't account for this, but PKHeX was quickly patched to account for the "dwarfed" save size. If you are unable to load the save with a 1575632-sized save, redownload PKHeX.
What we want to know is why there are two different save file sizes. The current working theory is that there are two upgrade paths:
v1.0 -> v1.1 -> v1.2 would yield 1575705 bytes, while
v1.0 -> v1.2 would yield 1575632 bytes.Quite possibly, we would see this for users with both games, with one as their main (e.g. I play Sword but have Shield for completion reasons, and have not played Shield since v1.0).
If you have a save file that is 1575632 bytes in size, please help us confirm this theory by letting us know if you went from a v1.0 save to a v1.2 save (save was last used in v1.0, never saved in v1.1, game updated straight to v1.2 and saved).

this is my problem, the difference is that the file size is smaller than other cases but I have tried with the corrected files uploaded to github and the problem still exists
Bad dump, file size is too small.

1575632 should be supported. Try redownloading PKHeX and placing it in another directory, then opening from there.

Closing this thread. Zarude isn't Legal.
If you don't even see if, you don't have a v1.2 save file open.

Edit: Redownloaded, re-exported save file from after the update. The only main files I can open are from before the update. Am I doing something wrong?

PKHeX 20.06.22
in News Discussion
Posted
Legality checks updated. PKHeX checks are not definite, and are always subject to change. That being said, PKHeX's checks are far more intensive than what the game/Home/etc has. The Pokemon are by definition illegal, but that probably won't stop you from bringing them to Home.
