poltergeists

Hey this probably a question asked plenty of times (I apologise if it is) but would this mod work with a preexisting game save or is it better to make a new save for this mod? I'm asking because I am middle of a platinum playthrough when I discovered this mod. Luckily I'm still very early in the game.
