  1. In case the update got missed, bumping this. The first 4 bytes on Roamer 2 are causing it to be offset, I wasn't clear enough when I said which part of the roamer object was identical. I'm pretty sure based on what I was reading in the PKHeX Core roamer file in the GitHub that it means that the Last Location and Capture Unknown are shared between them, but other then that the rest of the roamer object is duplicated. I'm aware that the new home support is absolutely is and should be a priority, I do however want to make sure that this bug is known for after that is done.
  2. Okay, it might not be identical after all, when I said identical, I also assumed PKHeX started at the FFs and not the beginning for some reason. I wanted to verify this before the next compiled release update, but couldn't get it to build for some reason. That's my mistake. Basically, the highlighted and red parts were the parts which were identical. As is, it looks like the data is 0x04 bytes offset on the second roamer due to the first 4 bytes. Sorry for any potential confusion. The Capture unknown and the last location are the parts that are shared based on what uses what, in the gen 5 roamer core in PKHeX.
  3. Hey, so I got bored earlier and decided to mess about with gen 5 roamer editing, long story short, I RNG'd a Roamer ages ago, was curious if the game kept its data, it doesn't but it led me to messing with the data of the active roamer. Basically found out that the data PKHex currently shows on a roamer in the block data only accounts for the Pokemon in the slot for Thundurus, and that there's a second slot after that which is used for Tornadus with the exact same structure. Of course with only one roamer per version usually only one gets used, and that's the one that your version normally gets, so as is with PKHeX, if Black version with an active Tornadus roaming checks the encounter block for their roamer, they get no information because PKHeX seems to only account for the slot for Thundurus. The highlighted part here is the Thundurus slot which PKHeX currently accounts for, the red is the Tornadus slot. Side note, having both active at the same time is kinda buggy, but PKHeX currently doesn't support setting them to roaming manually anyways. I guess I'm asking if it'd be possible to add the second roamer slot to the encounter block data for gen 5?
  4. I more so meant by exception I figured something else was going on with Ga Ole QRs which let them give the the entries that never got hacked QRs dex entries made, though I guess in hindsight that doesn't really make much sense lol. I was aware I could region change for the Ga Ole QRs though. I'd appreciate you asking him, but understand if he's too busy to to provide an answer, this is pretty niche compared to the other things the guy's been up to since.
  5. Adding more illegitimate entries at this point won't do me much considering the shiny capped Pikachus I ended up getting just by using Homes transfer from Bank feature, as I had this happen accidentally, I've even contacted Home support at some point and they basically just told me that yeah they're there, they can't remove them but it should be fine. Though yeah I suppose they're not legitimate in that sense, I guess I more so meant possible to get without modding your own game. I was doing a lot of my own looking into prior to asking (which in hindsight, asking first probably would've made more sense) so I was aware of the Ga-Ole QRs, unfortunately none of those actually help in my situation seeing as I specifically need the shiny entries, though I was assuming there was some other exception going on with those, seeing as they are region locked. I've tried convert the same code to text and back and have also realized that even if I knew what to put on the QR that I would be incapable of actually addressing it on my own unfortunately. Though yeah, this was about what I was expecting to hear unfortunately, unless the dude himself comments on it out of nowhere. This is a pretty niche situation for an even more niche feature of the gen 7 games. Thanks for your answer though, I appreciate your time!
  6. Hey, so I've been working on a project where I've been trying to register every possible shiny entry into Pokemon Home, or at least as many as possible. A big part of that Project involved using the QR Code gallery to scan shinies, as those get saved into Pokemon Bank, which then get sent to Pokemon Home whenever you do a transfer. What I was curious about is if there was a particular reason that the Pokemon near the end of the dex don't have QRs? Were they just not able to be read by the game or was there some sort of problem with making them compared to everything else, I find it a tad strange that Type Null and Silvally have them but not the rest of the legendaries. It would make Cosmog, Cosmoem, Magearna, Pokeball Magearna, and Marshadow all legal to register shiny in Pokemon Home if it is possible to make QRs for them (or at least, make them still possible, I'm aware Eternal Floette used to register a bunch of shit, a bunch of capped Pikachu that are impossible got registered for me due to scanning it in Ultra Sun, which while I missed Kanto Cap's shiny, considering their QRs just give regular Pikachu, I consider it some lucky bonuses), so I guess this is also partially a question on whether or not its legal to have those Pokemon registered Shiny.
Its great to see the game finally get some sort of accessible way to play for us outside of Japan, I've been experiencing issues trying to get the wiiconnect24 events to work, literally since release, and as I'm currently going for all recruits, its getting kind of troublesome. No matter what I try I just don't get the letters on my message board, and would really like some clarification as to how these events actually work and when the letter actually should appear on the message board. I feel like the ideal solution would've been to just have all of those mons available as Wonder Mail W missions, but I completely get the point of this was to keep the game as 1:1 as possible.
