I'm having trouble using the WiFi/FTP and the 3-in-1 modes. In the former, when trying to dump the save file of HeartGold, it starts to backup but stops saying "Error: wrote 512, got X" where X is a variable. It managed to dump Platinum without any troubles though.

In the latter, it successfully produces a save file for both HeartGold and Platinum but when opened in Pokesav, everything in the Storage is corrupt and when opened with PokeGen, it said the save file are invalid. This was run using my CycloDS Evolution and my EZFlash 3-in-1 (lite, not +).

PCNY Wish are somewhat different from PCNY. I'm VERY sure they are Common GBA <A-B-C-D>. I've got 2 Wish Chanseys.

- Unknown GBA Pokemon - Hacked & Hatched pokemon from GBA will show up as unknown. Pokemon from XD/Collo will also be unknown.

It sounds interesting. The biggest bonus, aside from potential hacking, is that we'll finally be able record gameplay without relying on emulation.

You MUST pick a Type1 Algorithm or your pokemon will never come out legal.

That isn't entirely true. Different Pokemon will correspond to different types. In most cases they will be either Type 1 or Type 2. The other types are also used. For example, Type 4 is commonly used for GBA events.

what about getting a pikachu in the actual game, then editing the moves?

They won't be legal then. Pikachu are incapable of naturally learning Surf and Fly.

Thanks BerserkLeon. I spent a whole day trying to get a Flying Pikachu but only managed to get several Surfing ones and Flail ones and I've given up.

ok i see what you are saying SteveBob see there is only two places in a game like soulsilver and heartgold where you can get eggs from a man in the pokemart after you beat the first gym leader and the daycarecouple ok this is how i believe it works eggs hatch after you walk around awhile so where you met the pokemon depends on where you are when it hatches and the seconded thing is i think it wants the place where you recieved the egg not hatched at daycarecouple

I appreciate your work LordLandon but I can't seem to get it to work. I do everything as instructed and enter GTS. Upon arrival and checking, the screen starts flashing non-stop for about twenty seconds then complete stopping with "A communication error has occured."

I'm running on Windows XP and using Python 2.6.4 and it occurs on both my genuine Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Platinum.

If you have a Slot-2 flash linker from the old days (think supercard lite and such) then rudolph's nds backup tool slot-2 is your best friend, otherwise he has other versions of the backup tool for wifi or ftp to suit your needs.

You obviously don't realise the games can't be backed up with those tools.

Blue is my vote as it is generally the most web friendly colour there is. It's only vBulletin 4.0 that can't get it right.

Sure, there will be a Celebi event in HG/SS.

Well the plan was to get it for a more personal gain as I don't play the GameBoy Advance games anymore. x.x;

The save file I'm referring to is the one OmegaDonut linked to several posts ago. NTSC is a television encoding system so I'm sure you can figure out which of the two games the save file is for.

Ah, I see. So it's just a NTSC-U save file converted to a NTSC-J one. I should've read your post properly. I've had the same ISO in my possession since June (see @-Eon on the first page of the thread) and I was going to order a Japanese Emerald online to mass-receive Celebi like KazoWAR but I gave that idea up after seeing that no one had access to a copy of the save file nor could I find one anywhere. Now I can't decide if I should bother because there's bound to be a Celebi event in the near future with HeartGold and SoulSilver.

Oh well. It's all moot anyway, because I just successfully transferred a Celebi to my American Emerald using a converted save from off the interwebs. I guess they're not encrypted after all. Found the converted, no-Celebi save here, used a copy of the bonus disc to get a Celebi on it, then converted it back to an American save.

You don't have do any hex editing whatsoever; you can change the GC6J to a GC6E in Textpad, then let Dolphin's Memcard utility fix the checksum.

Well, did you try saving in Pokesav after making the modifications? By "but when I load my game, my data does not, I have to comense the game again" do you mean the save file gets corrupted?

I'm just going to go ahead and say it. I think it's absurd how you people are emotionally attached to data. Of course, I have favourite Pokemon but I've never that far to actually feel anything for them.

For example, I use bitter medicine on my Pokemon all the time. Revival Herb is so much better than a Revive. I honestly don't care if they don't like me. You might say I'm like Paul from the anime but that's just how it is.

May I ask why anyone would want these?

I'm not surprised in the uprise of Lv 1 Shiny Pokemon. RNG has become quite big and makes them quite possible.
