Cool a pokemon playing family that's got to be sweet. To be able to talk about pokemon and everyone understand!
Anyways welcome to the site. If you need a cool avatar click on the link in my thread. My current avatar is the work of telos one of the artists there. And both my sigs are made by people that make avatars, bear831 and naru-chu...aren't they awesome? You should get one too!
I say this to practically every new member
lol! *cough*advertising*cough* just kidding lol.
A Pokemon-Playing Family must be awesome. That would seriously be so fun.

Banette

The Pokedex say that that species it "Proud". I guess it left out the "Insane" part.
That would be cool and awesome, but there aren't ay deaths as far as I can tell in that series...
The living database of knowledge...
Reminds me of why I think they stopped airing Code Lyoko: I think they stopped airing it because they had less mature shows (such as this) they wanted to air.
Code Lyoko was kinda cool, but the Aelita rebirth thing was confusing...and I loved the theme song

Its pretty cool
Nice and simple like Naru-chu said
8/10
Rate my new sig whould you guys?
10/10
Wow, just wow.

Just an image with a simple background and text. The image is a bit rough...but its a nice, simple avatar

I apologize if this question has already been answered and because its not a request, but will PokeMod be compatible with different OS', such as Mac and Linux?
Once again, sorry if my post is a repeat of something posted earlier.
-
Exactly what's not awesome about that? Plus its cute (in my eyes) your sig was awesome naru-chu you're doing a great job. you've made like the past couple sigs.
Thanx!
And yes, the Breloom in the middle are the cutest. I just love the eyes in the glowing smudged one
-
Problem is, Mankey and Primeape cannot decide whether they are pigs or monkeys >.>
Stick with Swinub/Piloswine/Mamoswine/Spoink/Grumpig (Ew) for pigs. They are too cool!
-
Why is Breloom on popular demand? Anyways guys, thank you for the sigs.
Because its a Mushroom-Kangaroo Dinosaur! How can you NOT demand that? lol
-
hope im not interrupting anything but i admit im not artist, and on that note i ask anyone who doesnt mind to create me a avatar. only condition is that you use a gallade. go ahead and be creative, just has to include a gallade somewhere. thnx! :kikkoman:
First of all, to every artist listening, I hate trying to fit many small images on a small 124x124 picture. It annoys me...
Back to the Gallade avatar, I'll finish it up tomorrow probably, because the rendering takes too long, and its getting late. So if you can wait a bit?
-
Wait your part of the team here aren't you?
and you have yet to make an avatar so you can do it (if you want to that is)
I was gonna go make a new sig anyway
I don't know if I'll have time...but I'll get to work. Lol my creation anyway, so it should be easy.
*EDIT*
-
I chould do it i have some free time at the moment if you whould like an example of my work you can look back through the page's of this thread.
I can give you the renders I used if you want telos.

I always mess up with smudging and it ends up looking bad. Eh, great job though!
-
I'm impressed. That is indeed the best and the most advanced way of doing it, but its very time consuming as well, so be warned.
There are other ways of selecting your render, including the Quick Mask tool, which works very well for complex backgrounds and renders with holes in the middle where the pen tool can't reach. For simpler backgrounds, you can use the magic wand tool. Remember to feather your selection, kids!
If you have a bunch of holes (like a net or a hammock) then yes the Quick mask tool is the way to go. If you have like a ring...or something with only a few holes, you can still use the uberpwnsome pen tool. Here's how:
1. Click on the Paths tab on your Layer palette
2. Make a path around the outside of the image.
3. Click create new path (Looks like a sticky note being peeled, its a small icon)
4. Make a path surrounding the hole
*Repeat 3 & 4 for multiple holes.
5. Make a Selection from the first path created
6. With the path still selected, make a Selection from the second path, but when doing this, click Subtract from Selection option.
*Repeat 6 on any other hole path
7. Done!
But, I recommend using Quick Mask, because its not so time consuming.
And thanks Illithian, I hate dragging points made (Make a point, and make another point while still holding the left-click button and drag) because it messes up the wanted direction of the path.

That's one of the things my friend wanted to know. If their was a specific way you could find out where it was. Obviously there isn't.
Yeah, you need to randomly encounter it first so it will register in your Pokedex.
Then, find a house near grass, water, any thing you can encounter Pokemon in. Go in, then out of the house, then check the "Area" of Latias in the Pokedex. If she's not in the area, just repeat the process until she's in your area, then move around in the grass, water, etc. and search for Latias.

Hey Naru-chu, I just have tried to use some smudge tools, although I wasn't fully able to get it blend in (a bit) more I am happy with the result of my 5th sig. Thanks for the advice.
A question to the other photoshop users (I use CS4):
I was wondering what tools are the most usefull to cut out a pkmn out of it's background.. This takes me a lot of time and there must be a simpeler way than using the normal eraser (I tried the lasso tools but that takes me longer, I mus't do this wrong??)
G.
Here's the technique I use:
Go to the Pen Tool. Make sure the option on the top is clicked so that it makes a path, not a shape layer. Then, its like a lasso tool, but with an advanced curve feature. You can make curves with it in different ways. I like to do it like so:
1. Make a starting point, or point.
2. Make another point at the end of the curve you're trying to cut out
3. Click in the middle of the line made to make a point
4. Hold Ctrl and use your mouse to drag the point so that it matches the curve.
5. Repeat until you reach the end of the path (Connect back to the starting point when finished)
6. Right click and click Make Selection
7. Voila!

I had to go somewhere PF, give me like 20 min and I'll be done.
*EDIT*
Hope you like
New Opacity Smudge technique I'm using works pretty well. I'll use it now and then.

Could someone make me a breloom sig? Sort of like my drifloon sig but with breloom and some cool background. I'm not that picky because I love all of the work you guys have made so far.
On it...this is my chance to redo my horrible Breloom sig for wraith. I got some new brushes in, and a few Breloom renders, so this should be fun!

Lapras is too good for an HM Slave...Bibarael is an ideal HM Slave, and for me it can oddly pull off a win with is HM moves.

My favorite Dragon Types are:
[sprite]445[/sprite][sprite]373[/sprite][sprite]330[/sprite][sprite]149[/sprite][sprite]381[/sprite]
^
Ditto without Palkia...
-
Nice! Try using some smudge, or low fix...(I forget what its called) erasers to blend the Pokemon more into the background so they don't stand out as much. Overall, pretty sweet!
-
can someone make me a regular lugia sig please? thanks
please put Canadiensfan somewhere in it
Here:
I use Mr.Magician's font...shh...don't tell him.
-
Wraith requested it, so... :\
But you forgot...*is dumb*
-
I wish someone told me that it was for wraith...lol, then maybe I wouldn't have put Breloom.
