Why do people have to turn who does/dosn't get a badge into a debate?

*cries* W-well...I didn't know the badge would get removed...I just wanted some clarification as all.

Well, I'm not going to waste my time quoting others and just sum the whole thing up. I may have contradicted myself once, but only to keep things happy as I usually am and do. If you want the ugly, dress and want me to explain exactly, OK, but you asked.

It can't be some bad work that seems like you put some fancy brushes and slapped on a render or two. It's not just up to me, but also others who feel they deserve it. Of course, you may say "Narwhal and/or So&So make wonderful Avatars!", but have you seen the works of others? Here is something Poryhack has made:

Ask Narwhal or someone else to make something close to that, at least.

As you can see, that is some top-notched work, and maybe you don't have to be that good, but you can try reaching that high. Other's influence the judgement and if talk to people who are honest, they'll tell you it's horrible. Now, you may think it's not horrible because you haven't seen what could be made, but now you see how great some people and saying the sig of Illithian like:

then I don't know what to say.

This may have been hurtful to some of you, and I apologize for that, but under the request of others--there is my explanation. I also made the last signature on the bottom to keep from posting someone's work they think is at least good.

Unfortunately, if this continues I will just take down the whole badge and will not support or help push forward badges based around talent and the such to avoid me from having to do this again. Sorry about that, but I just can't. :\

I never said that the people that already had the badge didn't deserve it. Obviously they are amazing artists. Yea, I know that those selected were some of the best artists on the site, but some people can't be as good as them, so using them for a reference isn't really that great of an idea. That last pic was kinda a low blow Greeny! :\

By the way, not to see anyone forget, that was made by Poryhack and he has more wonderful work, but I think he already has it posted.

You are not the only people that were convincing greeny for the creative badge. Actually a lot of people in the chat were saying he deserved it however the choice is for greeny to decide and not us. I was dissapointed but that is non of my business.

Okay so in order to get the badge people have to produce extremely beautiful pieces of art? With amazing quality?

When I supported the creation of this badge, I had no idea that people had to produce artwork that only if deemed "high quality" to gain the badge.

So you're stating Narwhal hasn't produced anything in high quality yet? Who says that? Who's judging him on the quality of his work saying that its not high quality? Answer that for me please.

I have to play devil's advocate here and ask, since I was one of the few who didn't see a point in the Creative Badge to begin with - who exactly decides whether or not a person's artwork is "good enough" for that rank? To me it just seems like a bad drama waiting to happen.

Ok, look, I am making free pokewalkers as a thank you to the community. I normally charge for my work. If my work is just going to be edited and such with out asking permission first I will have to stop doing this

As a professional artist I do not appreciate my work, regardless of how minor, being edited with out my permission. Part of what keeps food on the table is the work I sell. Please don't make me regret offering these. I know it seems small, but I charge $2 for an avatar like this and I have made how many for free? Granted I am just using premade images for the middle when normally I make them by hand, but it is still my work.

I gave Toffeuy a template for personal use since they aren't being used anywhere. That is the only reason. If you plan on using the avatar here on this forum, just simply put credit in your siggy saying I made it. If you plan on using it on another forum, I will require you pay for it. For the future, do not edit my work with out permission.

Yeowch... that's gotta hurt like heck to anyone who edited your work...

kooooky101 - Hah, I used this one for Neopets, just because I lied to my friend about having an account. I told him my username and password, so when I got home I made the account quick!

Nero Variations - After a while I cam across the word "Nero". I wikied it and learned that in Italian, it means "black", and in Finnish, it means "genius". Now, the first thing I thought of was an evil genius, with black meaning evil, which I oddly love the malevolent and evil and dark. No, not anything religious, like I worship Satan or that. Just a preference in games. Do you ever notice that evil characters are sometimes more awesome than the heroes in some cases (i.e. Sephiroth, Shadow(kinda evilish), Axel, Deidara, etc.)? Genius is something I kinda liked because at my school, people say I'm too smart.

NarutoEH - My first account at the Project Pokemon Forums and name of many accounts on many websites. EH used to stand for Elemental Heroes, an anime that I always wanted to make when I was little. Now I make up meanings for it now that the original meaning is useless. Can someone come up with a good meaning for it? Something that works and makes it sound cool.

Naru-Chu - I created this user name for Project Pokemon forums. It represents Naruto and Pokemon, my two favorite anime/manga/games. It originally meant Naruto and Pikachu. When I read about people's hatred for Pikachu (a.k.a. Uberchu), I changed the Chu meaning to Pichu. How can you not hate that cutie? I enjoy it a lot except, I usually have to make my avatars and signatures match my username...eh. I like making avatars and signatures of different things too, not just of Pichu and Naruto characters. Oh well, I guess I don't HAVE to match my username.
