Cause this has nothing to do with hacked and non-hacked Switch. I know for a fact that those can trade (I have a hacked and non-hacked Switch).

Check game version and system firmware version. :3

I can confirm both are versions 1.1.1 on the shield (hacked) and the sword (non hacked) both switches are on the latest software versions as well

You need to be on the same game update in order to be able to trade.

There's probably files with game updates out there, but I cannot direct you where to find it.

my shield (hacked cfw switch) is on the same version as the sword which is on my non cfw so the latest one i think is 1.1.1 on both

On my cfw switch how can I get the pokemon I gen from pkhex onto my non cfw legit switch? I have separate accounts on them and never use the cfw switch online it's always in airplane mode, I tried the local trade but it doesn't work, my non cfw switch won't find my cfw switch even when i use the 90dns it still won't find the consoles, any help please? Thanks

Anyone else using the auto legal mod from discord build, mine was working, but now when I go into legalize pokemon, it just comes up with error couldn't make live pokemon legal, anyone know a reason why, it did come up with saying the file was corrupt at first, but I redownloaded everything and everything works perfect except the auto legal mod??

Thanks for the advice, I won't be sharing it with anyone at all, this is why above is only showing half of the serial number.

@theSLAYER Thank you for replying, I checked the switch guide you just posted to check my serial number and I also checked the serial number on another website to double check and as you can see in the picture I attached it seems mine is defiantly the unpatched switch, and will work using the RCM method (hopefully).

I was unsure if homebrew would still work on my switch because it is now on the latest software update, I found a youtube video showing it will work using the latest atmosphere version which I have just downloaded onto my pc. I will use caution, I have another "patched" switch which I use online etc, my unpatched one is for pkhex only nothing else, so will be offline and in airplane mode all the time for extra precaution. 

Hi basically I have this unpatched switch and it has been updated to the latest software version 10.0.2 without me knowing, can I still get homebrew on it or does the latest updates prevent this from being hacked?  Thanks

Ok thank you, if I want to trade pokemon from my unpatched switch will I have to update the console and the game to use the internet services?

Hi, I'm new here so obviously a noob with all this, so sorry for any dumb questions.

I have a unpatched switch and thought I'd try this out. I have the homebrew sorted now pretty much, what I'm unsure of is to get this app on my console and to have it all to work does my console have to be on the factory default firmware or can I still use this with the latest updates? 

Mine is currently on v10.2 I think it is, so wondering if I need to get rid of the updates to use pkhex?
