Riolu Aura Sphere Now Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 Hi everyone! I recently found a way to clone a Pokémon without the use of an Action Replay by using the Pokéwalker. If you want to know how to do this, then read the following below. Directions: 1) Choose a Pokémon you want to send to your Pokéwalker. 2) Send that Pokémon by connecting to the Pokéwalker. 3) When it says "Do Not Turn Off The Power", turn your game off and turn it back on. 4) Now instead of going back to your Pokéwalker, go continue your game. 5) Go to Bill's PC inside the Pokémon Center and you will see a clone of the Pokémon that you had sended to your Pokéwalker. 6) Withdraw that Pokémon and trade it to another Pokémon game such as D/P/PL/HG/SS. 7) After you have traded the Pokémon, turn your game off and turn it back on. 8) Go to "Connect to Pokéwalker" and send the Pokémon back to your HG/SS and deposit it into Bill's PC. 9) Trade back the Pokémon that you had traded over to D/P/PL/HG/SS and trade it back to your HG/SS. 10) Go to Bill's PC and now you will have the Clone Pokémon inside Bill's PC and the Original Pokémon in your Pokémon Party.
M@T Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 You can also stop after step 3, then make the Pokémon in the Pokéwalker level up, and take it back to the game: it will be cloned.
MACandCHEEZWIZ1 Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 Finally, we have a cloning method for HG/SS! M@T, does it matter if you level it up? Can you just let it gain at least 1 experience point?
Riolu Aura Sphere Now Posted June 18, 2010 Author Posted June 18, 2010 No because when you clone the Pokémon and you have it in Bill's PC, the one in the Pokéwalker will be released into the wild. Thats why you must trade the clone over to another Pokémon Game or as M@T stated "Level Up The Pokémon At Least One Time".
M@T Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 Finally, we have a cloning method for HG/SS! M@T, does it matter if you level it up? Can you just let it gain at least 1 experience point? - The cloning methods were know for a long time, - and it MUST level up, so that the game does not recognize it. No because when you clone the Pokémon and you have it in Bill's PC, the one in the Pokéwalker will be released into the wild. Thats why you must trade the clone over to another Pokémon Game. That's the purpose of the level up. I tested the method I posted, it works. EDIT: Okay, you edited your post, I see what you meant.
Riolu Aura Sphere Now Posted June 18, 2010 Author Posted June 18, 2010 Correct M@T, but a few people does not know this method! I have not tried the Level Up way because it takes quite awhile for it to Level Up, but I am sure that it will work.
Guest Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 So that means the Pokéwalker does store the entire Pokémon data and not just level, xp, gender and species.
Riolu Aura Sphere Now Posted June 18, 2010 Author Posted June 18, 2010 Yes, the Pokéwalker stores the entire Pokémon Data.
Janer1 Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 How about the people that dose not have wifi or anyone to trade with?
scorcher9910 Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Would it also work if you leveled up the in-game Pokemon? Or just the one in the Pokewalker?
Janer1 Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 i tried thalat time it did not work mabye im doing it incorrectly
Riolu Aura Sphere Now Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 @ scorcher9910: You must level up the Pokémon in the Pokéwalker or trade the in-game Pokémon. @ Janer1: What did you do excactly?
scorcher9910 Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Oh okay. So I'm not sure, what exactly determines when a Pokemon levels up in the Pokewalker? The amount of steps, I'm guessing. I've always just stuck the Pokemon in the Pokewalker then when I got it out it leveled up one level. And I'm also guessing that, like in-game, higher levels take more steps to level up?
Janer1 Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 @ scorcher9910:You must level up the Pokémon in the Pokéwalker or trade the in-game Pokémon. @ Janer1: What did you do excactly? I did trade it with my friend then i took it outm y pokewalker it said any pokemon got relesead to the wild i think i gave him the wrong same pokemon
Riolu Aura Sphere Now Posted June 25, 2010 Author Posted June 25, 2010 This Easter Egg will take a few tries to perfect it. BTW, Easter Eggs are Glitches or Tricks.
Vliegtuig Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Would the game release it also if you put the pokémon in day care?? Maybe it's an option.
scorcher9910 Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Oh that's smart. Someone should try that. They cant really release it if its in day care, right?
Antidote Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 A good way to test it is get a random pokemon you don't care about and try.
Vliegtuig Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Oh that's smart. Someone should try that. They cant really release it if its in day care, right?Yeah, and now I was thinking, to make sure it CAN't delete it, make sure the Day-Care man has an egg for you, so that YOU nor anyone else can't take the Pokémon out of daycare... But..I'll try it out in about an hour! I'll you guys know!
Riolu Aura Sphere Now Posted June 27, 2010 Author Posted June 27, 2010 No, I have just tried the Daycare Idea, but it does not work! It still will get deleted unless you change the Pokémon's Level or anything else such as its Name or Move Set.
Antidote Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 And there is the verdict. So basically sending a pidgey to the pokewalker then teaching the same pidgey in the game Fly would break the check and allow you to safely clone it?
Riolu Aura Sphere Now Posted June 28, 2010 Author Posted June 28, 2010 Yes it should work, but I haven't tried it yet. I will test it now and reply if it works. Edit: No it does not work either. The only way to break the chain is to level up the Pokémon or by trading the Pokémon to another Pokémon Game.
dragonmaster595 Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 im new and just wanted to know if doing this proccess of duplication will it hurt the actual game:confused:
