How do you use sendpkm? I drag the pkm file on sendpkm, but I get a window which pops up then closes in a second. How do I get it to work.

Hmmm... I have a problem here. I recently got a new computer, running Windows 7 64-bit, and GTS Server always crashes as soon as I start it up.

gtsserverproblems.png

As you can see, DNS Server still works, so I don't think it's my firewall. Sendpkm also works for me. I also installed NET Framework 4, which I think is the latest version, because I recall reading somewhere that I need to do that. What can I do to fix this? Thanks.

Oh, and it also worked on my old XP, but I'd rather use my new computer.

I'm not sure whether .NET Framework 4.0 also installs version 3.5.

Actually, the program is compiled with version 3.5 of the .NET Framework, so the problem may come from that.

But the DNS server needs 3.5 too, so that's wierd.

Try to download version 3.5 and see if it works better.

I'm having trouble with Hyper GTS...

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium, and whenever I try to start the GTS (the DNS seems to turn on fine), it tells me that port 80 is already in use..

Picture: Untitled-5.png

I checked my router to see what is 'using' port 80, and nothing seems to be..

List from router:

I'm fairly sure I've opened ports 80 and 53 in my router...

Untitled-6.png

Any ideas?

Actually your port 80 IS used :

TCP 0.0.0.0:80 Family-PC:0 LISTENING

What PID do you get when you run netstat -ano | find "0.0.0.0:80" (the column on the right) ?

Ah..I see...Listening counts as being used..

The PID I get is 4...

And I don't think I've got skype, so it cant be that..

There's a list of all my processes running atmo..

It is a fact that some app uses the port, now you just have to find out which one :D Any webservers or something like that running? Try closing all running apps and check again if port 80 is still in use.

Ah..I see...Listening counts as being used..

I used the command netstat -a

And I don't think I've got skype, so it cant be that..

Then try using this:

netstat -ano | find "0.0.0.0:80"

You should see a number, il the last column, which is the PID of the process that is listening on port 80.

Then run the Task Manager and tell us what is the name of the process with this PID.

Looking through the services, nothing seems to be running on PID4

It is the process called "System", which is a pseudo-process that refers to several Windows services, including IIS.

I think that your computer is running an IIS server.

Try opening http://127.0.0.1/. If a page is shown, then IIS is running.

To stop it, in the Start menu, run InetMgr.exe to launch the IIS Manager. Then, on the right side of the window, press "Stop".

Dude, I freaking love you <3 (no homo), thanks so much! :)

Edit: To have the GTS avaliable to others, do I just set the DNS to my external ip?

The program closes?

Then, another program might be listening on port 80.

Close any webserver and instant messaging program, then retry.

If it still doesn't work, run netstat -ano in a Command Prompt and paste the result here.

Can someone help me get HyperGTS to run? I'm using the Wifi Connector, and I can't seem to figure out what I have to do to get it to stop connecting to the real GTS...

Posted
Where do you find it?

Press the little windows button at the bottom left of your screen, and type 'cmd' (without the quotes) into the search box.

Then hit enter, and a black box should appear.

Go to your wifi connection settings on your ds (they are on the pokemon menu, under mystery gift).

Scroll down your connection info, set auto obtain DNS to No, then underneath it you can change the 000.000.000.000 to the DNS (your computers internal ip).

@ASuch : It seems OK, you don't have anything listening on port 80.

What program are you using? (sendpkm.py, GTS_Nuker, HyperGTS...)
