Millow Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 We are going to have a 2v2 tournament during lunch break at my school, so I decided to make my first serious team. Rotom-F Item: Leftovers Nature: Bold EVs: 252 HP / 120 Def / 136 SpD ~ Discharge ~Blizzard ~ Rest ~ Sleep Talk Swampert Item: Leftovers Nature: Impish 240 HP / 52 Atk / 216 Def ~ Earthquake ~ Rest ~ Sleep Talk They work together in a indirect way, both damaging the enemy and not each other. They also provide coverage of a lot of types, and are divided between physical and special attack. It's also a 2v2, and I want to make sure they last, so I sacrifice 4 slots for sleep talk/rest, which should keep them a live. Any changes I could make? Different ev/natures, etc. I'm also not sure what move to use for Swamperts 4th slot.
Tbird Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 You could go ice beam/avalanche on swampert and use overheat rotom instead. But I dont know much about 2v2 so that could be disasterous lol.
Shogun Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 Interesting... I myself do not know anything about a 2 poke team, but I tell us the results of this battle.
randomspot555 Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 Because theres only two Pokemon per team, there's no way you'll be able to cover every single threat out there. For example, you have nothing that can currently hit Shedinja. However, you do have at least two bases covered: The common Explode-Ghost/Protect team is partially covered by Rotom, and Dark Void abuse is checked with Rest Talk sets. Slap Toxic on Swampert. You can poison non-steels while hitting steels with Earthquake (x2 damage) and Discharge (neutral),
