pharohzeke Posted yesterday at 05:51 AM Posted yesterday at 05:51 AM Hey Guys I have a question, lets say you used Pkhex in 2021 and you deleted that specific version. But later on re-downloaded the version from that year, would you be able to pull up archived save's and other files that you uploaded on there as well?
Kaphotics Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago PKHeX is open source. You can download the repository at any arbitrary commit and rebuild it yourself. If it's an issue of getting an old plug-in to work, it's better to just get the plug-in updated. 1
pharohzeke Posted 2 hours ago Author Posted 2 hours ago I've been tinkering with it for quite sometime but I'm still a little lost, which section within Pkhex could I be able to access that?
Kaphotics Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I'm not sure I understand what you're asking for. The program executable updates periodically, for you to download and replace the executable. Any files that it generates (such as save file backups) are stored in a folder adjacent to the executable, and are not deleted when you replace the executable unless you delete the folder that contains it. Running an old version of the program does not give you any advantages compared to the latest release. You shouldn't need to run old versions of the program. If a plugin only works on an old version of the program, it is better to ask the plugin author to update their plugin, or find elsewhere if it has been updated by others.
