problem with pkhex not starting

Whenever I run the newest version of pkhex, or any version, it will run once and never again. Even if I delete it and reinstall it, it just won't open. can someone help?

Check to see if it is running in Task Manager. 

Not sure if you have any external hard drives / network drives that are unresponsive...
