Hello everyone, for the almost 30 years of me playing Pokémon I've dreamed of sending my Charizard from my original Pokémon Red to the newest titles, with Pokémon Champions release I'd love to bring him to that game, I've managed to get the save file on my computer and I can move it to a modded 3DS I have, I have some questions regarding this:

1. Is it safe to use in Pokémon Champions as is? - I plan on moving him through Poke transporter, bank, home
2. If I use PkHx to change the OT (as I misspelled my name originally) will it affect it in any way? make it illegal?
3. I did some testing with an Oddish and saw that it had "2016" as date caught, what date is this save file going to have? as it has never been officially supported I guess Nintendo would see a red flag if my Charizard has "1998" on it, is this correct? I'd love to have that year though

Thanks in advance for your help!

Non-event mons from retail carts of Gen 1 or 2 would likely not be flagged, as they are identical to copies caught in virtual console of Gen 1 / 2.

You probably shouldn't let the OT be PKHeX. This questions also implies you're creating mons from scratch, not actually transferring them in. Genning for usage against unsuspecting players would be against our rules, and I implore you to not gen mons for online play. Just transfer them normally.

Mons captured in Gen 1 and 2 do not have a "captured date"; the date assigned by Poke Transporter would be the "date transferred".

@theSLAYER Thank you for your thorough reply! I kinda was hoping you were who answered as I've seen you in the community :) just as a follow-up no, I would never create mons from scratch, wouldn't feel natural to me, it's just that in my OG save file I used a name I no longer go with/connect so I would like to change it on the info of my mon, so example it says OT:Hana and I want to rewrite it to OT:Luke, just so I doesn't mess with my identity and OCD
