TokoyamiTheDark Posted October 9 Posted October 9 My Switch Lite was broken for months, so my bro gave me his. My Switch Lite will be back from repair this Friday, but something is ticking me... I have seen people claiming that you CANNOT trade in LOCAL MODE with yourself after an update. My situation is; I have inserted my Nintendo Account on my bro's Switch, which I'll call "Alpha". "Omega" will be used to refer to my repaired Switch Lite. Both Alpha and Omega have my Nintendo Network ID. I have both Scarlet and Violet as physical carts. I do NOT use NSO. However, some people say they would never be able to trade LOCALLY (no Internet) with themselves using 2 Switches with the same Nintendo Account anymore after an update on the Switch... I just wanted to confirm if it's true or not... and don't go saying "Use Pokémon HOME" because some... whoever he/she is has sent me a HACKED Kubfu named "SUKEBE BOY" caught in a Master Ball (what the...) in exchange of my non-hacked Shiny Minior on the GTS last Spring...and my account got deleted (The hacker's account surely got deleted too, 'cause he had many "SUKEBE BOY"s on the GTS this April, asking for shinies) NO PIRATED GAMES/DLC, NO MIGSWITCH, NO MOD CHIPS, NOTHING HACKED. Would this mean I'll be unable to trade a Roaring Moon for an Iron Valiant between my Scalet and Violet simply because I use the same Nintendo Account on both consoles, even without NSO? Thanks, and I'll wait for an answer.
theSLAYER Posted October 9 Posted October 9 Under the impression that SV can still trade and raid locally etc. I've traded recently (to transfer items), and raided recently (use hacked Switch to find shiny raids via raidcrawler).
