connecting on emunand cfw for switch gift data manager usage

i was thinking of using switch gift data manager because later games starting from gen 8 have different file structure and because of that i still cannot import certain gift data to scarlet or violet because of damn bcat system and switch gift data manager requires to have more files than just passphrase.bin and because im running everything in emunand that means i have no way of importing atuff via bcat due to Nintendo potentially banning accout that is fake linked via linkalho plus it's not possible to save in sysnand and import save to emunand due to saves stored in account and not on cartridge so basically im stuck with no solution other than deleting profile and starting a new

Use JKSV to moves saves between your Sysnand and Emunand:

I wouldn't connect online using an Emunand though, which you have to do to make use of Switch Gift Data Manager.

If you really want to use it set everything up on the Sysnand, boot the Switch with no CFW running, connect online to receive the mystery gift, then go back offline. Repeat for any other mystery gifts you desire.

I'm not sure if anyone has ever got banned for doing this, all I will tell you is I personally don't think its worth the risk messing about with your Sysnand. I personally don't want risk getting banned, everyone's risk tolerance is different though.

SysNAND CFW is completely safe, there’s no need to boot into OFW (or to use EmuNand, unless the user is a pirate).

Nintendo generally only gives bans for piracy (or major offenses like cheating in online competitive play).

Use JKSV to transfer your save files from EmuNAND to SysNAND, and use SysNAND to redeem gifts.

Never connect to EmuNAND online, or you’ll get banned. EmuNAND is just an additional risk factor for bans, since users might confuse EmuNAND with SysNAND and try to go online from there. Don’t do it.

If you don't do piracy you don't need EmuNand. If you do, you'll likely get banned from here as well.
