PKHeX can't make myself the OT (ORAS)

Like the title says, i can't make myself the OT when creating new pokemon (or changing existing ones into a different species)

I have put the ID, the name, the region and fiddled with the memories. I just cant seem to make it my own.

It is annoying to have boosted xp and not be able to control it in the early game. How do i make pokemon my own??

That’s confusing. If you loaded your ORAS save first, then create Pokemon, the default would be your OT details

Give that a try and let us know whether it works.

No, same thing. Load the save, make a pokemon & set on an empty box spot, change an existing pokemon with another one or edit the pokemon and just change the pokemon/lvl/moves. Same result

 

Been doing everything for hours it just results back into making it a traded pokemon. I must forgeting something, but i dont know what

Mind loading the save? With the first mon in the PC being something your caught, and the second mon in the PC being something you made. I want to see whether I can see the difference.

Sure, here is one i caught & one i made

 

I should mention i did not change anything on the TID and OT name on the one i made here. The first one i made with all the info is in my party

Okay, looking at this

it is evident that I didn't explain the "make things" portion clearly. My bad.


Go to Tools > Data > Encounter Database


Then, you can indicate species, change the encounter game and right click > view the mon



PKHeX will make it appear in the viewer to the left, with the correct OT details:


Now, set it to your PC, and you're done!
 

As a side note, are you playing on an actual console? Just wanted to confirm if any country-region pair was missed. It is weird that this is showing up:

Ok thanks, i will set this up in a few minutes. I clearly didnt watch enough tutorials. I'll keep you updated.

Ok so i did all this while on an android device so i was a bit unclear with a few settings but apperantly the problem was not using the "Encounter Database" section. It is pretty easy to set up thanks to your prints. After doing that i am able to change all the settings i need and it will remain with me as the original trainer.
