Zarganth Posted April 14 Posted April 14 (edited) I get that they are 7 frames apart generating wise however I just feel so dumbfounded to try and figure out a way I can create a pair that have ether decent natures or ivs while being considered legitimate by pkhex overall this feels like a tough task, did see some programs for doing this however the better one made by one of the admins from the sounds of it i cant even access ColoStarterGenerator - Replit PerfectColoStarters - Replit both of those just go to nothingness so I presume something better is out there, can't quite figure this out with RNG generator or with Pokefinder This feels like the last hurdle for me to overcome in regards to Gen 3 PID knowledge I would Like a better understanding of the process originals had seed 4FDADC14 196 - ESPEON - FC17EB1757CD.ck3Fetching info... 197 - UMBREON - 796B5645954A.ck3Fetching info... SkyLink98 Posted April 14 Posted April 14 Afaik there's no public tool available to calculate valid spreads for Colo starters, unless recent Pokéfinder updates included it. You can eventually look into PKHeX source code to understand how it works, though. Here you have various methods to generate valid starters: https://github.com/kwsch/PKHeX/blob/ba4d054089519162ddd719e8c762774171c58308/PKHeX.Core/Legality/RNG/CXD/MethodCXD.cs#L100
Kaphotics Posted April 14 Posted April 14 If using the encounter database, PKHeX will generate starters for you. If you have the TabsAsCriteria setting enabled, it will use the IVs and try to generate that specific IV spread. If you don't have the setting enabled (or if the IVs are not possible), then it will try to match the Trainer ID from tabs/trainer provided.
