Can't get my .sav file to open

I'm playing Pokemon FireRed on a Delta emulator in my iphone and I wanted to evolve my Pokemon but unfortunately I can't get my .sav file to open

Not a valid save file.

The file doesn't even have .sav as the extension.

Find a guide on how to extract your save file correctly from the emulator, or just dump it from your GBA cartridge again.

.sav advance pokemon games has 128kb usually. you need to convert or extract correctly
