ScreenObserver23876
Hey all, I wanted to ask a question about editing PoGO mons pokeballs on PKHex and how HOME tracker would react to it. From what I've learned, as long as you clear the HOME tracker and change the pokeball on a game that allows you to catch said Pokémon, you should be fine. But for PoGO mons, (Specifically some of the rarer shiny mythicals like Mew & Jirachi etc..) you can't really edit the ball because they're not found in any of the switch titles (shiny at least), and to edit the Pokémon in the first place you need to send it to HOME which automatically gives it a HOME tracker. which complicates things considering you should edit the ball before you get the tracker. But there have been glitches in GO that have allowed you to catch these Pokémon in different balls other than the normal pokeball, so I wondered if there would be a way to do that outside of GO without HOME tracker catching you. This site felt like the best place to ask this so I appreciate any feedback from anyone smarter than me and knows how this works. Ty!!
Kaphotics Posted yesterday at 12:28 AM Share Posted yesterday at 12:28 AM You cannot legally change any immutable value after it has touched HOME. Since GO 'mons originate within HOME, there is no way to modify their data and retain validity of the tracker & transferability.

I did think it was unlikely there was a workaround to this but I thought I'd ask just incase. But thank you for taking time to reply to this, definitely appreciate it!
