Channel Jirachi legality

0385 - JIRACHI - 99F03E827E56-illegal.pk3

This Jirachi shows up as illegal even though it has a valid Channel pid, the correct nature, ivs, and the correct SID. Changing OT gender did nothing. Is there anything peculiar in regards to Channel Jirachi that causes these errors, or does this have to do with pkhex's checks?

None of the results that I find on pokefinder are legal on pkhex.

None of the results that I find on pokefinder are legal on pkhex.

So what about Pokefinder? That guide uses RNG Reporter with its own learning curve. To reiterate the original question, nothing produced by Pokefinder for CHANNEL Jirachi is found to be legal in PKHeX. Can Pokefinder be used or not?

My understanding (and opinion) is: the various RNG programs can determine the seed to PIDIV correlation, but it doesn’t account for whether it’s possible for players to land and reach that seed on actual hardware (maybe for whatever reason the seed can’t get hit). Given Pokefinder is the successor of RNGReporter, I’ll expect RNGReporter to have the same issue.

Although it's been a while since your question, I'm just now touching on Channel.
The PID of that Jirachi “exists” as the PID to IVs tool of Pokefinder says. But the 6949B5C5 seed is impossible to reach, if you use the search option it doesn't find anything with those IVs, since it can't be reached.
There are a few Hasty/Naive that are 5IV easy to reach.
