Salsh4521 Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 Hi everyone, I dumped all the games I had off my original Wii (surprised it turned on!) and I've been trying to rip the original music off a Wii Ware game called My Pokemon Ranch. As of now, I've used showmiiwads to extract the .wad file into multiple .APP files. From there, I used the unpack U8 archive tool to unpack the .app files into separate independent files. I found the BRSAR audio file I need to use with the BRSAR extractor software but now I'm receiving an error message: "The file you tried to open is not a correct BRSAR file,". The file I'm using with BRSAR extractor is named Huf8_HomeButtonSe.brsar Does anyone know of any solution to bypass this issue? Or has anyone had success extracting Wii ware music files off the wad file?
theSLAYER Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 hey, the timing of this question is suspicious. Are you able to prove that you own the software and hardware to dump the games, such as showcasing them with a piece of paper + your username and date
theSLAYER Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 @Atrius97 pinging you cause you dealt with that user
Salsh4521 Posted November 14, 2023 Author Posted November 14, 2023 I was Teldryn5262 at the discord on 11/12/2023. My fault for not dumping my wii files before hand instead of just pirating the game online. I'll post a link to a google drive containing what you need as well as photos of the original wii hardware + wii shop screen
Salsh4521 Posted November 14, 2023 Author Posted November 14, 2023 You'll see the game is running off vWii cause I transferred the wii data onto a wiiu. I purchased the game when it was still available way back in 2012ish
