IS this Shiny Latias A Hack?

I got this in a trade and I inserted it into Legality Check myself and it came up as Unknown GBA Type and I looked at the definition and it states that: Hacked & Hatched pokemon from GBA will show up as unknown.

Now it says it's from emerald and latias cannot be hatched so I'm assuming it's a hack.

But I'd like a second opinion from someone who has more experience with hack checking before I get rid of this hacked Latias.

Thank you! So from now on if any GBA Pokemon comes up with "Unkown GBA" should I assume it's hacked?

Also should I stick to this thread whenever I want to check for any other hacks or is there already a thread for this?

I really don't want to be making thread after thread when I'm only asking for something simple.

You should post in the "Pokemon Legality" forum. Simply create a new thread, and attach the Pokemon.

Unknown GBA is ONLY legal when the pokemon can be bred. Some events show up at Unknown GBA, and that is because we are unaware if there is an algorithm.

so wait, if im reading what your saying correctly then in theory this latias could be legit/legal if it was bred before it was migrated, which is possible.

Except being a legendary, Latias can't be bred.

actually it can, i did so in my diamond version and in my ruby version before i owned an ar or a gameshark, they take ten minutes(ish) to hatch but it is possible.

Its not possible to hatch a latias unless you create an egg using a cheat code or save game editor.
