HG / SS: Editing Trainer's Pokémon (Levels)

Are we able to edit the Trainer's Pokémon already? Or at least their levels?

Please tell me which programme I'll have to use.

But the names etc. are Japanese.. If the English HG / SS releases, the Pokémon & Trainer names in the programme are English, I suppose?

I'm having some more errors with PPRE.

Some ROMS just can't be opened, what can be the reason? If I fill in the Rom's name and click the 'Set Rom' button, nothing happens.

And yes, I know how to use it, as some other roms DO open.
