Can I use my Citra save file on my 3DS?

I completed Alpha Sapphire on Citra on my PC a while ago, and have now got a 3DS. Would it be safe to use the save file from Citra on my 3DS? I have modified this save file but all of the pokemon on it are legal. The main problem here is, my friend has already gone online with this save file on his 3DS; we just wanted to see if it was possible. Another potential problem is, the OT on this save file has its Country as United States (no sub-region for some reason) and Region as Americas (NA/SA). My actual 3DS is UK, Europe.

Any help or advice would be appreciated, I am keen on learning about situations like this.

As long as you’ve got nothing on your 3DS that’s a ban risk, probably

Thank you! I am also following SkyLink's advice and editing the country/region of the trainer using 'Trainer Data Editor'. Am I ok to edit all of this information?

I can’t say for sure. They used to associated this kind of data if you registered for an account with PGL, but it doesn’t matter now since PGL moved on and this new save of yours likely ain’t connected to an account.

Also keep in mind that your save would automatically update to your 3DS’ country/region settings, so changing them may not fully matter. But you could just Luma spoof your country/region settings. (Keep in mind these edits won’t change Vivillon’s form. You’re gonna need to make a different edit)

Anyhow after I went through everything with you above, in all likelihood SkyLink is correct. Just remember we cannot guarantee anything 100% and you’re responsible for the risks you take on your device. :)
